At first I was going to say that there is no way that Flash could be a forensic scientist at such a young age. Then fridge brilliance hit.

Flash has super-speed.

If you only have super-speed as in being able to move fast, you would run into trees before your mind processes that they're there.

Therefore, Flash's mind must work faster than everyone elses.

Therefore, Flash could have been labeled as a child prodigy when he was a kid. Or diagnosed with ADHD...
