Absolutely wonderful! I love how my made your own story but it somehow just felt so right. Like this should have been the actual ending. I love everything about this story, it was a joy to read evey single chapter

This was soooo fun to read! I had also seriously disliked the ending, as it was anti-climatic and hurried. This was like a slow cooked food. Would have preferred some more smutty situations, but it was a great read for me. :D

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the story! I love that you diverged from the standard story and yet kept it so 'right' - the changes didn't jar or break the flow. Well done!

Oh my! This was...well this absolutely superb! I was searching for longer fics and happened to stumble across this gem, and I am very glad I did! I stayed awake all night to try and read as much as possible, and have kept reading little bits at a time for two days. It was that good!

The ending was about as happy as an ending involving Bishop could be. And that's what I really love about this fic: it strays from the OC, but not in an unrealistic way. Everything makes sense - everything is plausable. And everyone's in character, which is an added bonus.

I really enjoyed it, and I'm really glad I searched through the completed fics. Thank you for finishing it - there are many good fics that aren't ever completed.

Again, I really enjoyed it. Good luck with any writing you do in the future, and good luck with life in general. :)

HOORAY! Happy happy ending! I loved it! And...I'm sad it's over. This was a wonderfully engaging read. I literally came back everyday to check up on it (except the last few days, as I was out of town). I hope you'll do it again!

I loved the ending. It's the most plausible ending for a KC/Bishop "happy" ending that I've seen. The non-romantic romance suits Bishop well, and it was well played out. Having closure for all the characters was good too, although how come both Khelgar and Casavir share the keep? Can there be two lords of the keep? :-P The epilogue was a nice twist! I think why both Kathrynn and Bishop kept their identities secret at the end was because they want to sever their ties to the past, or at least only remain connected to the past incognito (cf. Bishop hiding beside Kathrynn's bedside). Now I wonder how long their camping will be able to last and what would happen eventually (realistically, probably an end at the hands of a dragon or something, but that's why the story ends here, lol!). I'm sad to see this finish but I look forward to more of your work.

Nicely done, sweet and happy. Maybe, too sweet and happy. But nevermind me, I'm just not very much on happy endings. Guess, don't believe in them - prefer kind of opened ones.

An epilogue with Sand was amusing - though I didn't get why Kat and Bishop were hiding their personalities from him. Sand of all people should have been happy to see them - instead they scared the Hells out of him with their "Luskan assasins" looks. Evil guys:)

Eh... kinda sorry that the story ended though. Was enjoying it, really.
