I'm reviewing just the first chapter because I see it started as a one-shot but isn't finished (hadn't noticed that part when I clicked on the story). I'm too scared to read the rest and be sorely disappointed if it isn't concluded. But the one-shot was done really well! I liked the overall tone and sort-of "vagueness" to the story.

Oh my, this is written so well. So beautifully and poetic at some points. I hope if you ever get back into writing you continue this plot line. It's a good twist on characters we know and love. I really want to know what the hell is going on after the war, the hints you've given are so intriguing. Some chapters were just so gut wrenching and I could really feel what the characters were feeling through your writing. You have a gift. I am definitely a fan and a follower.
