nice ending... caroline was one of the ice age kids, and in the end things work out for all concerned. good ending.

only helen could manage to tame hyenas even partially. i like the intro of the cro-magnon woman and her kids; we get to see helen being almost like a normal human being. interesting.

jenny really does need to change the shoes... at least get more manageable heels rather than stilettos. as for leek, what the hell?

why do i find the fact that even traveling through the past helen has to deal with annoying bugs amusing?

helen should not be flippant about alien invasions... in the sci-fi world, when people get flippant about things, they usually wind up having to deal with them! ;)

well, they're certainly in a bit of a mess. loved how jenny planned to shove her heel into eugene's foot. she could probably kill someone with one of those if she hit them hard enough.

oh hell, the butterfly effect. the storm hits china and the arc team shall face the fallout. this chapter really caught helen's academic side, i think. i can really understand why she was so willing to explore the past now. (if it were me i'd go for human history, but this still makes me relate to her better. oh hell, i'm relating to helen. that's bad.)

this version of claudia really has no nerve at all, does she? liked jenny standing up to lester; also love the idea of them going to ludlow (the tudor fanatic in me gets a kick out of it). lester really needs to learn abby and connor's real names, rather than using their scooby-doo nicknames.

i think the therapist would either be scared or confused. seeing prehistory through helen's eyes is very interesting.

the pterosaurs again... this is not good news. what exactly is it with jenny and claudia anyway? i'm getting worried about a potential catfight.
