Wow so few reviews compared to what I thought this fic deserved! Let me add to it :) I'm not really into Aoshi or Saitou at all, probably because I was 12 when I first watched it and had (still have) a huge crush on Sanosuke (he's such a dork), but I can appreciate Kikome very much, she's an amazing OC and I LOVE that she's so prideful and stubborn, yet she's so very humble about her flaws too. She's arrogant and she knows it, and she won't let herself be haughty when it counts. She's magnificent, I pretty much read this whole story just for her lol. Oh yeah I'm really happy you had Souzou be part of her past. He's amazing. Wish we had more on him as a person. Be cool if you ever made a side fic about her time with him... though that's highly unlikely as this story is what, 8 years old now? Either way, loved it all!

I still enjoy revisiting this fic. I think you crafted a wonderful story! Thanks again for a great read!

I love, love, love this! Do you have any idea how many times I have re-read this? To many I tell you! There aren't very many SaitouXOc fics out there, so this is definitely my fave!

You had his character spot on, and I enjoyed Kikome's arrogance too.

this story is absolutely awesome! I only found it because you mentioned it in "Ace of Spades" (which is also awesome).

I really like the atmosphere and plot of "Tangled Web of Fate" (and the prequel: Legends of the Age) and how Kikome is not super strong despite how she is in some aspects better than Kenshin. I also thought the love triangle between Kikome, Aoshi and Saitou (made me really hate Aoshi at one point)

I just have to say that was the best story I have read on FanFiction. You pretty well stayed true to the Story line of Rurouni Kenshin, and if you differed you told us why. It was captivating, adventurous, amazingly well thought out and written. You have a talent! And I appreciate you writing that story! I loved it. I would like to see what you can do with others, believe me, you have a fan! And I loved the way you ended it with Saitou, a very fitting ending indeed.

If I just read this alone, I totally would of gagged and shouted Mary Sue. But with all those chapters before this and the drama, story, plot moving along... fuck, it's really good. I haven't had a good read in awhile, and this takes it. Makes me never want to look at that summer reading I have to do :) Yumi, even thou I was younger and probably didn't get anything... (Also I just found out her name, one fail point for Joyce) It was so, fitting, that she was compared with Kikome. Btw Kik-yo, Kag-ome, KIK-OME? Lol I saw that with your author note, that bit where it was from Inuyasha /inspired. Sigh I wonder what will Rima will face. I'm sorry but DGM is my coke, I'm addicted BAD, I always have to go back to it T_T [Reason why it's hard to watch any anime now... Also it's Hoshino's hiatus(es) that makes me want even more, I love the DGM casts' voice but it's hard to watch he anime. Thou I proudly say I think I watched where it counted :D ]

Wow, I don't even know how to start. The only reason I didn't read your RK's fic was cause it's been like five years. Amazing how I never wiki-ed RK, only watched as the dubbed episodes on Toonami and a few of the OVA's in Japanese when I was in 4th grade? But wow, I glad I did read, and finish it. Gave me a better view how FUCKING AWESOME A WRITER YOU TRULY ARE, I also downed your One Piece one. After finding out Ace was Gold's son, it does make you want to find out more about him. And since I'm a lazy bum who doesn't watch the anime and too tired to actually read up to 500 plus chapters, I just settle for fan-fiction. Ahh, shallow, no?

Damn round 2003 when RK came out in the US and maybe later 2004 or early 2005 when they stopped airing any episodes cause it got canceled in Japan; I say when reading all this, I was so impressed that my memory remember ANY characters at all to functionally read :D

Man I want to write some more for this long bitching ass review but sadly I'm just scared that my computer may restart anytime T_T and since this is for chapter 38, I still have chapter 39 to read. So I bid ado. [For now]
