sandysan2013 chapter 30 . 8/1/2017 This is one of my favorite stories. Each character is reflected with canon flaws and good traits. The story itself is well plotted and constructed. No plots holes! Fantastic! Thanks so much! |
BelladonasMom chapter 30 . 5/10/2014 I always loved this entire series. I'm sorry to see it end here but maybe one day you will return to this universe. This was so well written and I really got to know the Law and Order characters. Amazing work all the way around. Bravo and keep writing! |
Mourning Star under the Moon chapter 30 . 10/20/2012 Is there any chance you can be convinced to write a sequel? Or more than one? I can see some fun spin off stories for the new Torchwood New York involving Joss, who might not be Jack in terms of flirting but will still be omnisexual. Plus all the fun of Alex and Bobby creating their own Torchwood environment and taking cases from their former employers. I'll confess to only being a casual fan of CI, but what I saw of Goren and Eames I loved. Although if I'm remembering correctly... I'd love a casual scene with Alex, Bobby, and Mike where they just have a good time. I also think that it'd be fun to see how everything has affected the Torchwood Cardiff side of things. I hope you don't do "Adam," since that is one episode I can't accept as anything but a weird wet dream someone had. However, "Reset" should be around the corner... and I'd like to see how this slightly different Torchwood would handle it. (Although I hope none of the weirdness involving Owen's living dead status pops in - I still feel that was a huge mistake on the writers' part. It was at this point I got pretty tired of the same plot devices coming back to the series. And sorry for my relatively minor rant - this stuff bugs me.) I loved both this story and "Another World" - they are both amazingly creative and well put together. I have to say that I'm amazed at your creativity, and love your writing style. (Although occasionally there are spelling and grammatical errors that make me sigh... but to your immense credit, not once do I see my biggest pet peeve - "defiantly" in place of "definitely.") I also must say I tend to agree with your pairings - the implied Tosh/Owen, the adorable Jack/Ianto, and the Gwen/Rhys. Although seriously, I feel sorry for Rhys. The poor guy deserves better than her, if she'd so casually cheat on him. (I was thinking today that RTD must think that to be real, you had to give all of your characters tragic endings - unless they're Mary Sues. This makes me sigh.) Sorry, I seem to be ranting a great deal... ah, well. I like telling people what I like and dislike about their stories (more the "like" than "dislike," since I mostly just review the good stuff.) And good stories inevitably make me feel that the original show should be doing just as well as the good fanfiction out there. (Almost all the time, it's better than bad fanfiction - although I'd argue with you over whether "Angels Take Manhattan" is better than some of the bad stuff or not. Depending on how bad the fanfiction is.) So just think about continuing this series as well as the "What Never Should Be" series - please? Both are such creative and wonderful AUs that I want to see more in their respective universes. Star |
StarKayak chapter 30 . 10/8/2012 Absolutely loved this story. I wish the BBC Torchwood books would address Jack's missing years as well as you did in this story. |
Lynka Read chapter 30 . 9/12/2011 I liked this |
Random Ruth chapter 30 . 8/24/2011 Amazing story, thanks for telling :) |
WickedBlue chapter 30 . 1/30/2011 Wow, how did you manage to write a sequel that is even better than the first part. I wouldn't even be able to tell you which part I loved most. I love the entire wonderful story! Thank you so much for writing it and making my day so much brighter. |
sedeka chapter 30 . 1/18/2011 what a beautiful story, you are truly a talented author. I have enjoyed reading your stories - the only problem is once I start a story I can't stop and it's lead to some very late nights! lol thank you! |
Orion Lyonesse chapter 30 . 1/10/2011 A very satisfying end. I liked the story. Will there be more? A lot of potential here. Keep writing! |
Tashash chapter 30 . 1/9/2011 I adore this story and and it's prequel and I'm really sorry I haven't reviewed yet. Your fics are are always entertaining and so well written and I look forward to more of your work. But I have to wonder what will happen with John Hart? Sequel? Maybe? |
Nyx Ro chapter 30 . 1/9/2011 YAY! Thanks for the happy ending. ;-D |
AmethystSiri chapter 30 . 1/9/2011 This was truly a phenomenal story, written beautifully :) I will be keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel? or some one-shots of the life that follows?anything? ... until then I will go back to the very beginning (Another World) and start reading these brilliant all over again :) |
Orion Lyonesse chapter 29 . 1/4/2011 That was just wonderful! I was in tears from the ceremony on. And your wrap up of the Time Agency and all the loose ends was well done. Gwen...deserved what she got and I'm happy she realized her future was with Rhys. So happy Jack and Ianto didn't have to choose between Eleya and Earth. Nicely done. Keep writing! |
ciocia chapter 29 . 1/3/2011 Oh my goodness, I'm going to miss this story. This was a very satisfying chapter - I really love the relationship between Jack, Ianto and Eleya. Thanks so much! |
AmethystSiri chapter 29 . 1/3/2011 Beautiful chapter :) this is a phenomenal story, I am always eager to read the next chapter, and will be very disappointed when it comes to an end :) Please update again as soon as you can :) P.S. I love the way you portrayed Gwen (too many make her a saint or a sinner, I think you made her human) |
