really great story, I read The Titan's Curse and am now completely obsessed with Artemis and more importantly Artemis and Orion. It's so tragic and sad...and you did a really good job.

...no matter how many times I read retellings of this myth, I still see Apollo as being petty for making Artemis kill the only one she loved, when he has so many lovers. I mean, really.

This story is so beautiful, and so heartbreaking. I love it. And (unlike my silly little drabble) it emphasizes the relationship between the two hunters so well.

That was so sad! I was crying som uch by the end of it. I always resented Apollo for that one move. I also like how you showed Artemis' and Apollo's relationship in a good light; that they were friends rather than rivals.
