Nice chapter! I was starting to think you've forgotten this story. I'm glad that you've finally updated.

Awesome idea for the evil-stepfather to set up an invasion that would make him the hero. I'm really looking forward to what you're going to have happen next. The Doctor, Rose, Jack, and possibly Astera against the evil king and a Sontaran invasion? That's gonna be interesting (good kind of interesting, not bad-when-you-have-nothing-else-to-say-interesting).

Anyway, great job so far! I hope to see your next chapter sometime soon!

Good chapter. It's a little short compared to the others, but it was still interesting. I hope next chapter you explain more about Astera and Nubia. Is Astera really "the Last Time Lady"? If Nubia is filled with people like Astera, that would mean that there are more Time Lords and Ladies. Even if the people on Nubia weren't Time Lords or Ladies, then what about Astera's mother? I suppose Astera might only be half Time Lady and part human or something. But those are just my thoughts. There are still some things I can't piece together. Like if the people of Nubia really are Time Lords and Ladies, then I don't think that Sontaran's would be a BIG problem. They probably could deal with it fairly easily without a whole armada. Oh, and why is Queen Evadne's name in a bold font when she is first mentioned? Anyways, good job so far!

It's interesting, certainly, but Time Lords have always had a way of recognizing each other immediately. That's why the Master needed the Archangel system to block it out in season three. Also I am VERY VERY wary of Time Lord OCs; they turn into Mary Sues realy fast.

Dear goodness, please don't tell me the Doctor's really her father! (the description of the father fits). That's just NOT on for me!

But if not, I can breath freely, despite my hatred of stories in which monarchy is treated fairly - I HATE hereditary power, being a big democrat. (Yes, I know I'm one-sided in this regard, but I'm proud of it. It's not the actual rulers' faults, it's just the stupid system.)

Very interesting idea, as there aren't many Nine fics out there. Nice setting, and I look forward to seeing where you're going with this. Everyone is behaving like, well, themselves, so no issues there. The description and pacing is sound enough. I look forward to the revelation of this mystery of yours.
