The whole description of the afterlife was so different yet believable; dreamy and sad. And the Matt/Mello reunion- tearworthy, tearworthy.

Implied Light/L was good, even though I had to wait a moment before that set in.

I just love this...normally I loath afterlife fics because I don't like the idea of heaven/hell, but I like the way you did it.

that was really beautiful in a sad but kind of, maybe just a tiny bit, happy way. the descriptions of this place they were in were so eloquent; i thought of it as an ever-changing painting or something like that. reading your writing just made me feel like i was looking at a piece of art. does that make any sense at all? i hope it does.

this story made me happy, even though there wasn't much overly-happy about it. something about the calmness and simple yet complex nature of this strange place, and the easy exchanges between the characters, and matt and mello's reunion made me really enjoy this.

I love your Matt here, first of all - his vague confusion, which he isn't too worried about; his chainsmoking by force of habit; his train-station limbo; his indifference undercut with the unthinking need to be there when Mello calls.

I love all the limbos, actually: the whole concept is beautifully executed (...*shot*), and the tailored purgatories are perfect.

The M/M reunion is particularly lovely, and the last moment with L almost gave ME a heart attack.

Hey you person of many amazing fanfiction skills! This was awesome, really awesome. I love how the mode of transportation from this strange purgatory-ish land after death varies for each person. It's an interesting idea! The descriptions at the beginning that Matt's feeling of death are intense. I mean, all the descriptions are pretty detailed, but those are especially more. Interesting concept, you pulled it off very well.
