Well, I gotta say-I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this, I almost never read crossovers. But you did a good job with it. I really liked Galen and Rob, they were interesting and drew me into their world.

"Didn’t Rob say his father had been killed?" Yeah, that kinda threw me too. LOL I love the idea that Rob's dad and uncle came back to help. I did get a little lost during their conversation, trying to figure out who was talking when, which ghost was which, but I eventually figured it out. I love that Rob's dad could help with the healing.

Scarf day, eh? Wonder what that's about.

So, Galen and his dad faced whatever this is before. That makes things very interesting. Wow, what? Galen was dead-for 10 YEARS? Holy cow. Are we gonna get the backstory on that? Or is it in the book?

Rob and Sam were cracking me up, arguing over latin translations. *snickers* And the poison acts as a beacon? That's a VERY bad sign...so glad that Galen was able to help Dean though. It seems like he's past the worst of it.

This was a really interesting story, Muffy. I enjoyed it a lot and will definitely read the next one. Thanks for such an unexpected surprise!

Well, I thought as you're recovering from your surgery a little "review therapy" might help you feel better. ;)

This totally cracked me up: "“Well how the hell are we going to find it in this weather? It sucks.” “Yeah, you might have mentioned that once or twice.” Every fifteen minutes for the last three hours. “What is it about Washington? The weather hates us, the plants hate us, the traffic sucks,” Dean continued his complaints. “You can’t hold the run in you had with the blackberries against the whole state.” “I can and will, Sammy.” He heard Dean sigh. “Every time we get into this area it’s not fun. Twice it’s tried to kill us.” “The state didn’t try to kill us, Dean,” Sam said." ROTFL I was laughing so hard at Dean's whining and the idea of the state trying to kill them. Classic Winchester banter! LOL

Ooh, that's bad. Very, very bad. The description of Dean's wound is just creepy, especially its reaction to holy water.

So glad that Sam found your boys, who can hopefully help. Since I haven't read the book yet, I did kinda wish you'd given a physical description of Galen and Rob. I'm having kind of a hard time picturing them. But the characters themselves seem very cool. Glad that Galen's a healer, hopefully he can save Dean.

I loved though, that Sam placed himself between Dean and the boys, protecting his brother from strangers he doesn't know if he should trust. Protective Sam. Gotta love him. *happy sigh*

Hmm...cryptic and interesting ending to this chapter...

OMG ... thank goodness Galen saved Dean, otherwise it would have been the end of me LOL :D - love the relationship between both Galen and Rob, and their ghostly fathers, plus I'm intrigued out of my mind about the 10 year death ... you're so evil LOL :D

OMG Muffy, I love Galen and Rob. Helping Dean and Sammy, 2 total strangers and Dean is so ill. I refuse to accept that he's dying LOL :D - wonderful introductory chapter, off to read more :D

Yay! All four of the boys together. Loved the part with Sam and Rob arguing over the translations. It was so perfectly geeky little brother. Can't wait to start reading that next story now. It would be fun for the uncles Bobby to meet.

Really liked this story. Galen and Rob work nicely with the Winchester banter. I like that Galen and Rob's dad and uncle though they are gone are still around when the boys need them.

Please don't make us wait too long for the hunt.

Oh, sneaky Muffy Morrigan! Because now I've gone and ordered your book (and on the church's credit card, too!). A dead father and uncle that still appear when needed; Galen having been dead for ten years; a great older-younger brother dynamic; HAVE to read more.

Looking forward to the hunt now that Dean's healed.

I like Galen and Rob, and am amused and intrigued by their ad in the phonebook. Are there really ads like that around your neck of the woods? It's interesting to see Sam and Dean from another perspective, too. I'm full of fond amusement at Dean trying to hide his blindness from Sam - when's he going to learn that being-in-tune-with-one's-brother goes two ways?

Great two part story! I'll definitely be on the lookout for the sequel.
