This is a good, insightful chapter. The description of how her life was void of sunlight (or life) when she was working as a doctor is interesting. It is quite a difference to her life after meeting the Joker, and gives another reason why she would prefer to be with him.

Harley's line in the second to last paragraph is sweet. I think it's safe to say she longs for someone to care for her and to give her a more exciting life. It's interesting how you tied that in with the sunflower.

This chapter is a good insight to why she feels she has to stay with him. The line about having to accept weeds over lilies is sad.

That and the part where she mentions that she will go before him, it's scary to think about, especially considering their relationship. Also, the fact that she promised him she would.

He is just so cruel, but this whole scene is very much in character. In this short display of dialogue you show just how awful he is to her, despite how much she cares for him. The line at the end is a good moment of comic relief in this otherwise sad moment. Nice work with this chapter.

Another well written, dramatic chapter. The fact that she believes that he cares for her even a little after what he does is sad. If only someone could convince her otherwise. Again, nice work with comparing the bruises to the flowers. Nice job with this chapter.

Wow, this is an intense chapter. You did a nice job with comparing the thorn injuries to the intentional ones there at the end. Through her reaction to the flowers in the second paragraph, you show there is a lot more to her character than what is presented on the surface. Nice work with this chapter.
