Dino-Rogue chapter 1 . 8/29/2015 They are home, indeed. Not in England, no... but in Narnia... or perhaps not just Narnia. More than that, they are home... with Him, in Him. At last! Now, if only Susan would join them in their true return... oh, poor Susan. She will, though, in good time. Aslan's perfect time. What a marvelous, gap-filling, wonderful fic! |
blueyblonde chapter 1 . 4/2/2011 i love it |
ibelieveintruelove chapter 1 . 12/9/2010 Wonderful job! I've always wondered if the Pevensie children found Aslan in England - obviously Peter, Edmund, and Lucy still believed, but I wondered if they ever made the connection. Now I know :) |
lucymonster chapter 1 . 11/30/2008 Gorgeous. I'm actually speechless. BEAUTIFULLY written. |
FebruarySong chapter 1 . 11/19/2008 Beautiful. Thank you. |
Kathryn G chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 Beautiful! One of the biggest reasons why I love Narnia. :) |
Inactive1357 chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 This had a very nice Christmas-y feel too it. Good job with the troublesome present tense. One thing that confused me right near the begnining was the game between Peter and Edmund. It wouldn't hurt to mention who's who; your story is a little to vague about that - at one point it seemed as if Peter was moving both black and white. Especially since movieverse convention has peter with light hair... Lovely ending. |
oodlesofdoodles chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 that was really cool the way you tied the two together. I also clicked on this story because we're singing the song PiƩ Jesu in choir (beautiful song) and one of the lines I sing is Agnus Dei. Funny how it all works out. |
All The Pretty Horses chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 Really good. I really like fics where they discover what Aslan meant by that. Keep writing! |
Don-Jam chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 It was OK, but I Live in the UK, so I have to say: 1) This is in 1943/44? At that time MOST(like 98%) went to church on Sunday. To have NEVER been to a church before, then you were most like(99.9% of the time) to be a Jew or Communist, I think we may have seen That in the Books. 2) In the UK a priest is a Roman Catholic, And at that time they were Not like mach here. Agen I think we may have seen That in the Books. And at the time Only a Catholic go to a Catholic Church, and then at last 3 or 4 Time a yaer. 3) Most(99.9%) had a Family Bible at that time.(A lot stell do) All this was even more so in that bit of London at that time. |
SpangleyPony chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 Wow your best yet I think, I love this (in case you couldn't tell) My only suggestion for improvement is that the 'he' in the beginning is confusing at first until I remembered you put 'ed centric' on the summary. A story intro might be a good idea. eg. I Edmund pevensie sit across from my brother... Wonderful story but I do always feel sorry for Susan. |
lamp before the wind chapter 1 . 11/13/2008 I love this! And the bit about Susan's indifference was heartbreaking, how she refuses to care. The last line was splendid. Keep writing, and God bless! |
