Color me absolutely shocked! I truly expected ol' Fumblemort to at least attempt to crash Harry and Neville's birthday party! Now I'm not really surprised by Draco's behavior at the party. He IS a Pure-Blood after all and been taught how to behave at such parties. It would look really bad for his family honor to behave like he usually does in school. There I think it was because of how Harry dresses and behaved himself. Harry didn't present as a Pure-Blood Lord but more like a street urchin. Now that Harry's dressed like a Lord and behaving like one Draco will very likely treat him like one.

I'm rather surprised that Fumblemort hasn't crashed the party just yet. I truly expected him to pop out of the Floo to tell Harry that he had to cancel the party as it wasn't safe for him to do. Or some such bullshit! But as the party hasn't been going too long there's still time for him to show up. Party pooper that he is and all. Ya know, there's an opportunity here for Harry to pass on some important information about Vultureworst's true origin and blood status to Draco. Now maybe his father knows and maybe he doesn't know that Vulturworst real name is Tom Marvolo Riddle and that he's a half-blood. But even if his father does know, it's highly unlikely that he'd tell his son. I see this as a way to make Draco think about whether or not he truly wants to join Riddle's little gang of psychos.

You can really see just how desperate Fumblemort is getting. So you have to ask what is he so afraid of going out to the public? Just what is so important that he'll do whatever it takes to hide? I think it's that he's truly the Primary Dark Lord as I've already stated. It's also very likely that he fears losing a great deal of power that he's become use to having. as the old saying goes, All's fair in love and war. And he's now at war with both Vultureworst and Harry Potter. One he wants to destroy on his terms and the other he wants control of till it's time for him to die at the others wand while leaving him thee Potter fortune.

Oh yes! Talk to Fumblemort! Not like he won't lie or pay with someone else's money or simply memory charm them into forgetting! Like I already stated. Fumblemort is the Primary Dark Lord of the late Twentieth to early Twenty-First centuries! Just how many war orphans has/is Fumblemort robbing from needs to be asked and deeply investigated. Not to mention his involvement in Sirius's imprisonment. And let's not forget Fudge's Kiss On Sight Order which I wouldn't put it past Fumblenort to've had a hand in. Now we just saw that Fumblemort had no problem justifying using memory charms and blocks on students as well as on children that weren't attending his school magical cores to get his own way. Does that not prove that he is in fact a true Dark Lord playing at being the Leader of the Light?

Dumbledore was already realistically narcissistic controlling and evil – even in Cannon – you didn’t have to make him a ridiculously over-the-top Disney villain!

Not the best showing for Hermione so far. If she doesn't improve fast she'll never have a chance with Harry. Though I do like Harry/Daphne pairing very much as well.

Somewhat interesting take on a HP trope, but the writing and language is getting difficult and somewhat stale to read. There also seem to be plot holes creeping in...

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It is a great pity that it seems to have been abandoned.

The way you’ve structured the Lord and Lady system is too stuffy and pompous. The plotting, the more sinister thoughts and the general execution of dialogue just make everyone appear cartoonish.

These things make this story a chore to read.

I think sometimes an author's note stating about coming chapters are cursed to be "Words Of Doom" to ensure a story is never finished. So far in my reading, it has been a one hundred per cent occurrence. Your story is great, I love an assertive, competent Harry.
