First, I would like to say Happy New Year from officially 2016!

I just found this fic, even though this was written like 8 years ago! Oh my goodness lol. And what a lovely fic this was! I binged this in like 3 days because I just had to know what Gin's outcome was going to be. You actually had me thinking for a moment there that he was really going to be executed. ( I was so sad when I thought this, my poor little heart was on the verge of breaking)

I commend you for blending suspense, romance and tragedy. I really enjoyed your interpretation of Gin's trial, had he survived along with aizen and even Ulquiorra, in which I was pleasantly surprised. In all honesty, I had never been a real big Bleach fan mostly because I just never really liked where Kubo took the story, but I have always really liked the characters. You did a very good job at creating an entertaining story, and a shout out to chapters 15 and 16 for actually giving me the feels ( this is actually not an easy thing to do btw since I'm a little on the jaded side).

Now, I'm well aware that this is quite an old fic, and I'm sure you have continued to progress in your writing. Nevertheless , in the case of this fic I would like to extend a friendly word of advice in case you ever wish to revist this fic in the future. There were just a few moments where the dialogue was a little awkward. Since its really late, I didn't actually write which ones down as an example ,but I'm sure if you go back you'll catch them. There were moments where the formal dialogue was absolutely fantastic and absolutely appropriate, but there were a few times when the formal dialogue was being used in more casual settings. While that in itself is fine, particularly with what I like to call really stiff and old fashioned characters, but in the case of Rangiku and a couple other characters, there were occasionally moments where they came off as unusually formal. Allowing casual speech to occur between characters of lower standing or with characters that share platonic, familial or intimate relationships, allows a more natural feeling for the fic overall.
This didn't happen all the time, mind you. Most of the time you were spot on with dialogue.

I would also have liked to have see a little more emotional turmoil from Rangiku as well as maybe gotten a chance to get into gin's mind at least once. Although this fic was ultimately extremely entertaining and pulled heart strings all the same, especially with all of the secondary/ implied romantic affections going around with the secondary characters. (Not sure how much of it was romantic, but the scene where Ulquiorra looks up from his cell as Rangiku passes expecting it to be orihime to only then be disappointed, got me so bad in the best way possible).

Overall, great job! I shall be favoriting your fic! Thank you for the story!

Awesome story

I really liked this story. There's so much to be explained, though! I'm thirsting for more, even though it's over.

I liked the questioning parts most. And those silvery ferns.

After reading this, the ending felt sad yet hopeful. It makes me wish for another chapter, though. The whole thing was wonderfully touching and was on the whole a lovely read.

I really love your fic, the interrogation and investigation where everyone was suspected of being part of the treason was great. But the last chapter kind of left me hanging maybe an epilogue could be added or something. But overall, a great fic where my time reading it was wisely spent.

This was both heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. I love how you effectively brought Gin full circle. The affection you created between the two was perfect and so tender. Thank you for doing one of my favourite pairings justice.

I am very impressed with your work. Really. Nicely done. I especially liked the idea regarding the Quincy children and your interrogation style... and the fact that no one was safe from interrogation and scrutiny. Your work was very well thought through. I had lost hope that there were any intelligent Bleach fanfiction out there, but you definately proved me wrong and I thank you for that. I hope to see more Gin/Ran from you. Perhaps an epilogue? And I was wondering if you would object to me using your fic as reference for the Gin/Ran fic I'm writing. I will also be doing interrogation scenes, but I know I'm not very good at creating the same questions as you've portrayed in this fic. Nor the manipulation of the answers to put everyone in soul society on edge. I attribute the tension you created to the inquiries and suspicions formed around 911. Very well done! Thank you for writing and keep it up. Perhaps one day you will write a best seller and make lots of money! lol

I read this story while it was being released, but neither did I add it to favourites after completion, nor did I review (at least as far as I remember). I love this story, since I too hope that Gin turns out to be double-agent or something like that. So reading it again has filled me with squee - thank you!
