zukosbiggestfangirl chapter 3 . 1/23/2012 Please keep writing... ...Lord of the Rings? Maybe? Maybe not? whatever... |
yza chapter 11 . 10/15/2010 loved it! Ur fic was absolutely amazing! Love it..beginning to end..zutara forever! |
DefinedByFire chapter 11 . 7/13/2009 Aw! Ok, I loved that story! I especially loved the last chapter. That has to be my favorite. When I read SOTR I felt like the last chapter was too rushed, but the timing of this chapter was perfect. I'm glad you showed the boys at an older age because a lot of these zutara parent fics end once the baby/babies are born. I liked seeing the interactions of the six-year olds. Plus, I thought the extreme similarity of Roku and Sen's cliff moment to Zuko and Katara's fountain moment was such a sweet idea. One might think that kind of thing might be cliché but it wasn't, not in the least. I'm glad I went back and read SOTR, because I almost just read this story without reading the prequil, just so I could enjoy that moment. Thank you for an exellent read! Keep writing! You have a fan in me (though that's not worth much...jk!) A friend and fan, DefinedByFire |
Genny1234 chapter 11 . 3/23/2009 OMG!I love your story and you definitely write a part 3. I choose A! |
Shadowhawke chapter 11 . 3/16/2009 Wow. A stirring finish to the series. I love how you tied up the loose ends, and how you gave us a wonderful glimpse into the lives of the children at the end as well. I especially love the character you managed to imbue them with in such a short amount of time - Roku's resemblance to his father was very endearing. I also have to commend you for Aang's sacrifice. The ambiguity he felt about it, and the way that it saved the world was pretty incredible. As for the poll... whatever you write next, I'll be looking forwards to it. :D |
raron2ride chapter 11 . 3/15/2009 Oh dear now, my brain Can't take the awesome level. SHUTDOWN: 3 2 1 blop. asldfk. seriously this was such a cool story i wrote that haiku review on like the metaphorical gas tank fumes of this story i'll submit another review soon when I can think (or maybe maybe when like F.) All of the above happens (by the way. Option D: sucks. your boss is an idiot and more evil than an Ozaiplatypusbear. (think of that whenever you're angry at Le Beetch.) AWESOME STORY. GO AUTHOR GO |
profoundlycan chapter 10 . 3/12/2009 I knew that the next chapter would be 'Death is the Road to Awe'. It's my favorite on the soundtrack, and this chapter really lived up to it. One more chapter left... I'm on the edge of my seat! |
LinaStar chapter 10 . 3/6/2009 Oh! I'm excited! Bring on the next chapter! |
Shadowhawke chapter 10 . 3/6/2009 Wow. First of all, I love the philosophic elements of this. It worked really, really well here in its culmination. Secondly, I love that Aang was *able* to sacrifice here. That he was strong enough to do so. That in itself was incredible - thanks for another great read! As to the trilogy question or 1.5, I'm really not sure. I think either would be great. Just can't wait until the next chapter that's all. :D Thanks for this one and the enjoyment! |
Shadowhawke chapter 9 . 1/10/2009 Hey! Don't worry, you certainly haven't lost this reader! The details of Sokka and Suki's upcoming wedding was very sweet, and Zuko's ruminations on Katara and their parents was very touching and heartfelt. But I think the strongest part in this was between Aang and Toph - that was incredibly written and so sad... I hope everything will be okay! Eagerly looking forwards to the next chapter. :D |
profoundlycan chapter 9 . 1/7/2009 I'm happy to see this was updated and I hope you're feeling better. I do have a bit of speculation for the last chapter. I fear that Toph is headed for death, but I don't believe she'll be alone. I believe Aang will go with her, sacrificing himself for the great good and to be with his beloved. Katara, being of the Water Tribe and currently pregnant, will bear the next Avatar. Anyway, I look forward to the epic conclusion to this lovely piece. |
Electric Risk chapter 2 . 12/21/2008 Hey! ...Yeah, got to reading this a bit later than I intended. Anyway, I'm now officially reading your fic now! Hurray! Interesting start... And very sad about Zuko's mama. I can't wait to see him be a dad though, I imagine after the birth he will have a moment of pure euphoria followed by deep-seeded unadulterated horror. I am a little confused about the time of year... It sort of sounds like it's fall, and Katara is three months pregnant... but she's supposed to have the kid at the "first snow" (seriously wtf, Zuko!)? Something just seemed off to me about that... Dunno. Interesting development with that disease. I have this sinking suspicion that Katara is going to get it, thus producing a few nail-biting moments before the happy, relief-filled resolution... But I suppose I'll figure out more by actually reading on, which I will do now... -ER- |
Shadowhawke chapter 8 . 12/1/2008 Another stirring chapter! I'm glad things are moving along - Katara finding out was to be expected, and you did that well. I also liked the mending of the rift between Sokka and Zuko, the interesting part with Aang and Gaia, and most of all that part with Zuko smacking down the council man. Very, very well done, I really enjoyed the strength and directness of it. :) |
Shadowhawke chapter 7 . 11/23/2008 Wow. Fascinating chapter. I loved the way you linked Sokka and Suki's engagement to the story about Xibalba. It really was very interesting. Aang and Zuko's talk was very interesting too - geez, Toph being sick was a massive surprise. I can't wait to see where you go with that! I really hope she'll be all right. I also can't wait to see how you're going to deal with Issi and Gaia - Aang's quest to bring them back together sounds like it's going to be fascinating. So yes, can't wait for the next chapter! Thanks again for sharing. :D |
Shadowhawke chapter 6 . 11/23/2008 Hey Verlassenes! Sorry for taking so long to review, I've been away from the internet for a week, so this is the first chance I've got to read. :) And I totally agree! That was an awesome chapter - the Xibalba mythology was really, really interesting, and I loved the way you wrote it. And I also liked the dashes of Sukki, Zutara and Taang - very nice indeed. Sokka's jibes at Zuko and their making up later was also quite in-character, I felt, especially with Sokka so nervous! So yes, great chapter. :) As for the vote: I think I'll go for f) It's your judgement call. That's just because I think that if you feel inspired to write, you should be able to without being bound by an exact decision as to which direction to go to. But I do hope you keep writing Avatar fanfic! Your stuff really is great to read. :) |
