It pains me to know that you will (most likely, its been years since) not be continuing this fanfic, however, that does not stop me from rereading it at least once a year. Every time i do come back to CBND, i keep hoping that you did update a chapter but that is never the case. Either way, whatever happened to you to make you lose your muse or interest and life just got in the way, just know that i love this fanfic and that you have done an awesome job writing it the way it is now.

I don't know how long it's been since I've come back to this story, but I am grateful I did. Although your updates are few and far between, you have the most beautifully crafted writing. It is all well planned. I just hope that you will eventually come back and finish your story. I'm hoping to get an more of an answer to Vincent's relationship to Sephiroth. I hope it doesn't end in tragedy like the actual series. I want to see Vincent become the badass that he is and be more than worthy of Sephiroth... Know that you have an avid reader and supporter. Please update.

Hmm.. Haven't read any fanfiction for years, well, for five years now. But I still come around once a year to check if you've updated this story.

Great story, it's amazing. Love how you portrayed sephiroth and Vincent!

I'm going to tell you that it was the only Sephiroth/Vincent story I've read, with Vincent as a teenager, that was completely believable. It's plot is really well developed, the timeline is flawless, and there are no plot holes.

I wasn't sure about the pairing at first, but the way it was developed, and since the characters remained intact during it drew me toward it.

The background of the characters were explained well. I admit that Sephiroth's background was really dark, but it was believable again. I liked how you took it into consideration that there was, at least once upon a time, something between Sephiroth and Genesis. I see how it was realistic that Genesis misunderstood Sephiroth's coldness. I guess even despite all that hate and tension that grew between them during the years, if they both want it, they can get back together again. Just like Vincent's feelings and uncertainty about doing that act if Sephiroth were to ask him again.

Vincent's background was really a nice one, too; how he got his gauntlet, how he got Cerberus and all of that, it was really good.

Another good point about Vincent is that even if he's young in your story, he's not some emo. Even Cloud has a background and a personality that suits him, I begrudgingly admit.

Your story took an interesting turn, and it really took me by surprise when it reached Crisis Core. It was a really nice surprise, just like knowing that Gast was also alive, I really want to see what happens when he and Sephiroth meet.

I totally fell in love with it; I loved it so much that I can't say it in words. Everything was really great, from the very twisted relationship between Genesis and Sephiroth, to General's background, and everything. It's really fantastic! It's really obvious that you put great effort in writing it, and you did very well. Well done.

Anyway, I'm really really curious to know what's going to happen in later chapters, and I really look forward to read more from it.
