Lee, had you heeded these wise words, "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger" (James 1:19) instead of jumping to conclusions, your relationship would be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Excited about this story continuing in your next and, thus far, final story; however, it is not marked complete and has been dormant for many years. That makes me quite sad for you have the gift of storytelling and stories are meant to be shared!

My appetite is whetted for the next phase. I've been in Scotland twice in my life, once by train and once driving a rented car (which is how I visited the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and the very bonnie Loch Katrine nearby).

Whatever predicament Lee's experiencing, three weeks and no phone call or message for Amanda, can't come close to this wild ride! Between Leatherneck and Amanda, they got the boys to safety, rescued Linda, knocked out the syndicate goons, sicced the police on them, it's lights out for the pond scum ex and the runaway car stopped without injury. I'm exhausted just summarizing it!

Leatherneck is a way better detective than the local police. The B&E goon was Linda's ex, who deserves to be hung, drawn and quartered.

Having your very own knight in shining armor ... well that's every gal's secret wish ... plumes of dust and breakneck speed notwithstanding!

Leatherneck and T. Percival Aquinas are my favorite recurring characters.

This is one of my absolute favorites, even if it does leave us hanging. I loved seeing more of Leatherneck; your story totally fit his character. He always seemed quite fond of Mrs. King and I thought you developed that story line very well. And I was glad to meet one of Amanda's non-agency friends. The plot was terrific.

The Time Traveler is impressed! As a newcomer to this fandom, she cannot wait for the next installment!

This was excellent. Your characterizations, especially of Amanda and Leatherneck, are right on, and you have a talent for writing action scenes that I can only drool over. Very well done. My only complaint? The end doesn't feel like the end, which makes the story read more as a work in progress than a stand alone. I can only hope you're working on that sequel and plan on posting it soon.
