Wow. God. Where do I even begin. Your writing is very poetic. The way you describe their emotions and the setting was very beautiful that I could place myself into that situation. I UNDERESTAND. I like how this spanned several years because it's only right that it will take both of them a long time to reconcile with their trauma. You even separated them to pursue their own personal goals. That was one thing I approved of. It was just so sweet and heartwarming at the end. You are marvelous. Thank you!

My second time reading, my first time was probably about a year ago, I go between phases of obsessing with Phantom and then going to read fanfics of some other fandom. I will never forget your portrayal of Erik and Christine. This is what love should be like, not suddenly accepting each other’s flaw and just getting married and having sex like every other fanfic in this world.

Hello! I just finished reading this story for the very first time and, please pardon the expression, but holy shit! This is a fanfic you don't come across very often. This is a very rare masterpiece indeed! The story is so well planned out and beautifully written to boot! You have a certain way with words and you're able to draw the reader in with your wonderful, beautiful writing style! Not to mention your depiction of the characters, which was spot on! I love the way you portray Erik and Christine and I was able to feel what they were feeling: all the frustration and angst. And I think especially what you did with Erik was so great: his road to redemption and entering society was so believable. This sequel is a thousand times better than Love Never Dies (don't know if you've seen that) and I can totally picture this as a mini-series on TV in maybe five-ten one-hour-long episodes. I loved the story you created with your original characters, the conflict that moved the plot forward. And I could tell you were also inspired by the original novel by Leroux as well as Susan Kay's Phantom! The message of the story is also very beautiful and I adore the realization Erik came to at the end: that he didn't want to be like everybody else, but he wanted to be himself. That is so powerful. Truly inspiring and something we should all strive for.

Thank you so much for creating this story! It's one that I will come back to and read again some time for sure. God, I really wish it was a TV-series! Perhaps you could make a pitch to Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber? That would be amazing!
