I'm usually not one for fanpoetry, but I'm glad I did pick it up. There's nothing incredibly flowery about your writing - it is simple and still very striking - but it's because of that that I'm attracted to it so much. There is something honest about the way you speak, and the point-of-view you chose struck me particularly. It's as if an onlooker is dictating to Deidara (or an audience), as if someone is right there in the heat of the blast and his final moments. The last stanza is my favorite, absolutely and without a doubt, and now that I've run out of things to say, I suppose it's time to thank you for sharing and to add you and your poetry to my favorites.

Wow, that's a nice poem! It's like a tribute to Deidara. But somehow, reading it makes me feel sad over the fact that Deidara's life is short. But that simply means that your poem touched my heart. :D

Maybe I can expect another great poem from you soon?
