Crazy kid Axel.

It's really hard for me to find an Axel fanfic that I won't be disgusted with (even though he's my very favorite character in all of the worlds), but I LOVE this story. Axel was quite the artist for a child. It reminds me of The Orphan for some reason, but in a good way.

Valentine was a Dusk, right?

I should probably not be giggling right now, but I am. But only now. Just because...The whole not doing it to another person thing. Which is probably the thing I should be giggling at the least. But...I guess I find the truth amusing. If I was one of Aerith's nurse friends, and she told me that story, and her thoughts on it, I would've laughed at her and then agreed.

Anyway. I like this one. It's...Poor Axel. It kind of broke my heart a little. Because maybe he's crazy, but maybe he's right...Although, I suppose, them being doctor's and all, they would probably know had his heart been not real. So...what happened to make Axel think that he didn't have a heart? Ooh, you could write another oneshot *insert large half-pleading grin here* That would be cool. Although, I'm totally all for leave-it-up-to-the-reader. Because while I am extremely lazy, it doesn't mean that other people aren't, lol. They might actually willingly think about these things :D.

I liked the crayon touch. The fact that he would only use black. The innocence derived from insanity is so...disturbing in that heart-wrenching sort of way. I liked this one -

This starts out slow, but it gets a lot better as the story progresses. I'm not quite sure what to say. At first, this struck me as one of those fan fics that could easily be changed into an original fic by switching the character's names. But though this is an AU fic, it ties in so well with Kingdom Hearts. I wouldn't quite say it's horror, but you did succeed in that this was creepy and dark. Needless to say, I am in awe of this piece, and this is going to my favourites.
