OMG I LUV YOUR STORY!

This story was absolutely incredible. It was so much fun reading it, I felt so many emotions mostly pain for L and Light but I don’t mind angst as long it’s a happy ending. And I have to say I’m satisfied with Light’s character even though he loved L he still stood up for what he believed in. And I gotta say I really hated Misa I’m glad she’s gone. Thank you so much for this story you’re a gifted writer.

i cant believe im revisiting this story after almost a decade since i first read it. it was a masterpiece then and its still a masterpiece now. it truly takes a special something for me to sit through 40 chapters in one sitting and be completely engrossed allthewhile.

So, i comment without reading the whole story cause i dislike one of the choice made for the that's not really objective but whatever. One of the thing i loved the most about death note is the struggle about the notion of justice and the fact that it's not resolved.I mean you have 2 different vision of justice who clash, both have interesting point and both have darker side and drawback. What makes me "balk" a little is that you decided to give to L , the "right" version of justice and of course that's debatable. That would be the same if one decided to make kira justice the right one absolutely whitout letting room for that's what's bothering me what' good and what's bad have been written at the beginning. L went to heaven so he's right .
second thing is just a questionIf he doesn't grow in the same environment and doesn't have any memory of who he was then is he really still Light Yagami ? That's somoene differnent no matter what.

i love you so much for writing this beautiful story! i was so amazingly written, I could imagine everything AND felt everything so much too! I cried, laughed, punched my bed and read the story as much as I could until I finished it, I'm gonna read every story of yours! this love was so real, the characters (at least for me) behaved like they were truly from the anime, I just don't have any complains! thank you so much for writing this ️

for what your light did in this story was not acceptable for me was he did kill innocent people like the fbi agent and his wife for unnecessary reason. i dunno why you could dismiss them as innocents. your light still has moral problem to create a world without criminal to protect the innocents. it seems like innocents like the yagami family mean something to him not deserved to die, but the innocents stand in his way deserved to die?

I’ll try to keep my reviews more sparse bc I know that getting random email notifs on old fanfics can cause an intense flight reflex shdhdb (at least in my case, I always die) I just have a lot of feelings

ok so. I understand that u wrote this when u were a teenager and as a teenager it’s hard to see the negative connotations w certain tropes in fiction— like a 21 year old L kissing a 15 year old Light, for instance. When I was a teenager I wouldn’t have even batted an eye because when ur that young, u don’t realize how toxic that age gap is, what with the obvious power imbalances and such.

I just felt that whole thing was extremely inappropriate (especially as an adult reader who doesn’t want to see a literal child and an adult enter any type of relationship)

Light was completely justified in his anger and confusion. L shouldn’t have been so blasé after the fact, either, like telling Light that he wouldn’t have continued the kiss if he [Light] had “actually protested” I get that L is kind of morally gray, but not THAT morally gray 8/

those are my only gripes tho. I’m sure that you’re older than even I am now so it isn’t really worth mentioning in 2019 HAHA

other than that I really do love this story a lot, I find it very compelling and the plot is SO interesting
