This was unbelievably amazing. It was brilliant to look at Chuck through Lily's eyes-and very effective. I love how Chuck was so taken aback by her concern...he's never dealt with that before. This was wonderful! Great job!

WOW. This was amazing. You captured both characters perfectly, it's like this is part of the show. I'm glad to see a fic like this.

I've wanted to read something like this for quite some time, because I found rather interesting the little interaction between Lily and Chuck that we got to see in the show. We've seen how Lily has become a more responsible parent throghout the first season and she genuinely seems to like Chuck, so it wouldn't surprise me if she were the first to notice when he behaved in a different manner. And it was so touching Chuck's surprise at anyone noticing his absence. It's heartbreaking but you managed to write in a way that wasn't overly angst-y, and the dialogue between them felt very in character for both of them. All in all, an excellent fic.

I'm writing a LC fic, too, and I've got Serena totally rolling her eyes over Lily's worry, and I love that you've done it, too. Because I think to her and everyone else, this worry is totally unnecessary for CHUCK BASS.

NATE! OH NO! *cries* NO! CN is over! Nate's moved on. NO! Love that Serena said Nate should have told him. LOL. Love that scene.

And then the LC scene in the end. She's noticing! And she can tell the different emotions. I love it. I love that she's trying. I need this on the show so bad. Enough LR scenes. If you can't get us vdB, then give us LC. Because if you're going to have THIS backstory with Chuck's mom, then we REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need another LC scene. V/V had an amazing scene, and the little that we get at breakfasts always make me smile, but we need a real convo. Showing that she cares. That someone cares.

And I love that she totally loves his charm. *giggles*
