Optimus is such an earnest sweetheart, I love him so very very much. Best Optimus Prime ever.
Absolutely adore how you described Prowl like an oil spill: flat and gloomy at first, but a brilliant spectrum of colours when approached at the right angle. It is such a romantic line, and I can imagine Jazz using it when he engages in flirting sessions with Prowl.
Prowl is so cute, I constantly find myself wanting to cuddle him. Even in the cartoon, despite his socially-awkward personality he does give off a sense of innocence. Must be all that nature-loving; there was that one episode where he watched a documentary on caterpillars turning into butterflies and he looked so awed, so childlike.

Ooooh. Is Optimus and Lockdown going to get together then? XD Both are jealous of Prowl and Jazz, and Optimus has no problems with the flawed. They'd make a cute couple... once they got over faction-lines and the fact that Lockdown's an unrepentant murderer...Lol.

Optimus has to be my favorite Prime yet. I think you did a good job with him, and look forward to future developments. Sounds like you have plans for Prime. He doesn't seem so "lifeless" as some characters, he's not so much a central role in your Ani fanfics, but is dangerously growing out of the supportive role. A lot of people are jumping the E1/BA as the missed oppertunity, but if so, why haven't you named her? I'm thinking you have another tragic loved planned, knowing you.

I really like the focus on Optimus in this story, and the faux-pas he kept making. I felt a little embarressed for him during the "expiriment," but hey, considering that the vast majority Cybertronian's knee-jerk reactions to flaws is that they should be terminated, what Prime is trying to do is pretty impressive.

So long as I'm here...I think you write the *best* Ani-ProwlxJazz fics in the entire fandom. Granted, there aren't that terrible MANY of them, but you do a terrific job. Well hey, they're also some of the best (in my singular opinion) PxJ fics around, period. Now I'm *always* thinking of Prowl being blind, and I've come to love the idea.

Speaking of which...

I've been meaning to ask you this for awhile now: do you have blind relatives or friends, or work with blind people, or did you just do a lot of research? I ask because you're portrayel of Prowl, the way he moves and gets around, feels very real and authentic and *natural*. It's one of the things I like best in your fics. I'm just wondering if you're speaking from experience/personal observations or not.
