I loved the way you described how it physically feels to start crying when you're in the middle of trying to say something profound. It was really realistic. Sorry, that was really random, but that part stood out to me. Awesome one-shot!

Ooh how did I ever miss this treat! Thank you for letting Dean properly apologize because he was being a huge dick. Yes, I get that Dean was afraid but to take it out on Sam was wrong. Yes, Sam was wrong to lie but he was scared, and really in the last year, what good would it have done to tell Dean when Dean was dying anyways? Why make Dean worry about something he wouldn't be around to help with? So I don't blame Sam at all.

And I loved the twist with Jack biting Sam and Dean doing the saving this time. That is so sorely needed this season. I miss Dean being the big brother. Things just feel so off kilter right now, but I'm holding out hope and in the intermin, we have great stories like this.

Okay, this was great. Just watch the epiosde needed. And I think Dean has been a jerk lately, too. I hate the distance that has grown between the brothers...

Great story. I love your take on this. I think Sam is suffering from clinical depression, and Dean made things a whole lot worse with his words and the punches.

That was a cool twist. I really like these tags. So far there's been a good amount of hurt Sam this season, but no comfort from Dean. I like that you're adding that.

Wow, if only that episode really went like that. Love the Limp!Sam, the Determined!Sam, the Sad!Sam. Love the Guilty and Protective Dean, I absolutely adore this tag. Well done, that episode was so angst ridden I felt like the bridge between the brothers is crumbling.

I loved when Sam was expecting Dean's explosion towards the end, and Sam was trying to keep it together, and then I really love the comforting lines you gave Dean especially “Yes I do,” Dean said again. His words were strong and definite. There was no anger behind them, only reassurance. He hugged Sam tighter. “You’re my brother.”

Sque! Such a wonderful tag to 'Metamorphosis'. I know the boys on the show aren't hugging each other half as much as we like but a girl can dream, right? Even though the scene in the episode was brilliant, I wish it had been more like your fine story, with Dean driving the point home that his little brother was still loved and not alone, never alone.

Sam's twisted reflection on his blood and how it truly made him inhuman was heartwrenching; I might have dropped a tear over those lines.

This was cool. The second scene in the ep that I wanted to see expanded and played upon. Thanks for the great read.
