I loved your work. It was so intense I found myself thinking that everything in the plot was actually happening somewhere around me. I agree with the tragic ending because I see how two characters like siri-harry who are so scarred from the past would find it difficult to just carry on after war when they have no real motivation to live apart from for their loved ones, when they actually would have to live for themselves. Thanks for sharing this fic

Holy shit I was obsessed with this. I loved the relationship between harry and Sirius and the three year gap used to get harry sorted out was an excellent idea. The killing of harry was one of my favourites as well (plot twist - whoa), but I would've enjoyed it more if you wrote the reactions of Sirius and co. Totally understand why you didn't, writing can be heavy and and sometimes a story doesn't seem as appealing as it did before - but I would've loved the crew to learn about his death, especially Sirius. I think it would've been a good idea if you managed to write a small chapter detailing Sirius' struggle with Alex's and then Harry's death. Again, totally understand why you didn't. I was hooked from the start and Alex's death sent me in tears - he's just so lovable. Aside from a few grammar and punctuation mistakes you're all clear - though to be fair I read this 5 years too late. Love your story telling and plot. Much love xx

So, overall, I really liked this story. I liked how Harry became a part of Hogwarts again and settled fairly comfortably into his friendships. I loved it when he took people under his wing and took charge of the fight against Voldemort. That being said, the ending wasn't really my favorite. And that wasn't just because it was a sad ending. Like you said, some stories just don't add up to a happy ending. It was because I felt the ending was abrupt and confusing. You did such a great job in the rest of your story about building up the storyline and the characters so that every step flowed and worked. And then Harry came back to England and everything just fell apart and Sirius killed him. The End. I had to read your authors notes to figure out what on Earth had happened. And killing Alex just felt like you put it in there to torture Harry. I know that was supposed to be a catalyst for him going dark, but I just didn't feel it. Maybe if a dark wizard had killed him and that's why Harry suddenly wanted to kill all potential dark wizards, but he died because of a medical procedure and because he didn't want to wait for it to be tested out before he went through with it. So, I will definitely be re-reading this story, but when I do I'm going to stop at the end of chapter 36 and imagine my own ending. Thank you for writing it.

Wow... that ending left me speechless. I hated the ending, in a good way... if that makes any sense. I just wanted Harry and Sirius to be happy, and they just couldn’t. I can’t even begin to imagine how Sirius would feel (in the present) to learn that harry was killed. I have a feeling that if he ever found out he was in fact the one who did it, it would tear him apart even more. Good god, this entire fic is heartbreaking. Harry saves the world only to lose everything all over again. Not to mention himself. And then to die...
