Now I have finished this tale and I like Sam very much. He is a good friend for Mike and his family is interesting and endearing. I enjoy reading about Indian rites and customs, also the more mundane family life.

The tale is dramatic and engaging. You actually made me gasp when Grandma Birchtree's house exploded. The conflict is very serious. I was happy that it had a *peaceful* solution. Matthew will become a very good shaman with the help and tutoring of his family and friends. He is a good diplomat and I can *see* him in his youthful insecurity, growing more confident as he talks to the gathering.

I like your descriptions of nature and forest, also the interactions between Sam and Mike. I can see that they will become very good friends in the Future.

The Beat is a very exciting and interesting tale. I enjoy the Moonlight connections, I remember that part of the series well. Sam is an endearing and engaging character. His shaman connections are a treat, he has abilities that are way beyond what he himself believes. He is very open minded regarding vampires and I would like to meet his Romanian friend, too. :) I am glad that Mick befriends him, it seems that this was meant to be. I like your telling of their time together and their mutual interests. Their ride and your nature descriptions are enjoyable to share.

o just finished the story, read it all in one sitting, sp proud!

i just found them through another author and started into it, once i get hooked there is no stop!

The bridge thing was amazing.
