Such a pretty yet sad story. I wish Yoruichi stayed for a bit every now and then :(

It's a cute idea, but I didn't like how submissively Urahara was portrayed. I didn't find his complacency with Yoruichi's desertion realistic, and I frankly had no respect for the 'tired, single father' version of him. In my opinion, Urahara would not be as accepting or as tired as your depiction of him.

"he'd come to accept it. Just as he'd come to accept that perhaps one day, one day in the future when she could accept it on her own, she'd stay again." :(

Also, the piece lacks character in parts. There was a lack of specific events, just an "in general" portrayal of the son and of Urahara's parenting skills (or lack thereof?). I would have liked to feel something from the piece besides "AW URAICHI!11". It would have been nice, for example, to see what Yuusuke thought of being a motherless child. Because here you've got this entire character, with hopes and dreams and hates and fears, and who is an integral part of the story, and you didn't use him.

Aw! This story was so good! And so sad! Good job.
