Dear: Qoheleth

Okay, here's the thing. I don't necessarily mind sheer, exuberant stupidity in a story; I am, after all, the author of the Iris Potter and the Goblet's Surprise. But there needs to be something in the story, somewhere, to reassure me that the author isn't as stupid as the story is. And, much as I hate to say it, I'm just not getting that here.

This story should really have more follows, it's quite underrated.

Hah. He'd have to be either hard-of-thinking or going extremely fast to get from Hogwarts to Cornwall without re\ching any conclusions - it's 400 miles.

I too find stories in which one of the characters suddenly has unexplained superpowers annoying - it's a copout. Although I did like the one in which Harry became an Animagus, discovered that hus Animagus form was a badger, turned Voldie into a toad and ate him.

Ha ha again.

Ha ha. But what happened to Wonder Woman...? And why is Hermione not asking if she's Wonder Woman's sister...? Is Wonder Woman dead...? Do you think I have a problem with ellipses...?

Ha ha, I'm sure it would be a lot funnier if I knew what Speed Force was, but...ha ha anyways.

Eeep. Poor Harry-but did he actually die, or just his Horcrux?

Poor Luna; but apparently Snape showed the way with his sacrifice. But doesn't anyone know that Fiendfyre can destroy a Horcrux?

Grats on finishing your story, and thanks for the complete character list, its nice to have as a reference. I loved how Ron's first concern was an emotionally real "My mom's gonna kill me." I also liked the visual of Dumbledore looking about the world he is now so much more able, and perhaps, better inspired, to protect, it reminded me of the first scene we see of Superman in Alex Ross' "Kingdom Come" mini series.

I was just struck that the ones who in the DC continuity are considered the "trinity"; Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, got very little page time here. That's a function, no doubt, of Harry still being the hero, but still, maybe you have a sequel in planned? Where Ron might meet his catwoman/ or Talia? Although BM/WW was the best pairing in the Timm cartoons so maybe that could happen and spare us the gymnastics required to believe Hermione and Draco could last five minutes.
