I actually think that the ending was ok. it was simple and sweet. Though I would've wanted to see Basch reacting to it... but then again, now that I think about it, the ending was ok for me.

The diary entries were ok too. I suppose if you're feeling uncomfortable about it, you could put the conversation in "Ashe's memory" or something, like she was remembering the event while she read it. I dunno. that's just my suggestion. But nevertheless, the fic is already good as it is. Wow. it's really cool.

Wow. XD You do have a lovely way of spinning a beautiful Basch/Ashe story! This was so heart wrenching, especially at the end where she had left him the note. You are extremely talented and I look forward to seeing much more from you in the future! You have my seal of approval of great fic writing!

My heartstrings got pulled. I was feeling nervous for her as she heard Basch's footsteps- write faster!

The memories in the journal, and then realizing that her knight was indeed in love with her right before her marriage to another... OH so bittersweet. *wail*

Her letter back...I can just imagine Basch's horror at learning that she had read his journal...but that she loves him back.

It was fine the way it was, lol. It's still sorta innocent, their feelings, I guess, if this is to be a series, I suggest that romance, always works best if you work up to it, rather than, just splatting it out there. You must have intrigue!

Aww, this is a one lovely story! :) I truly enjoyed to read it. I suppose this happens right before Ashe's wedding, yes?

The thought of Basch writing a journal is really original, though I wonder if he would really be one to keep a diary, and what would he write in it :) the things he have written here are very deep and meaningful, like his promise to never pick up a sword again, or his confession about his feelings for the princess. I think you really did a good job! :D

I love Ashe's reply. Somewhat stoic, as it should be for one who will have both the responsability of governing a country and honour a marriage/alliance, yet her words are also meaningful, like if she desired to write much more than the words she left him :)

And of course, it is lovely the way she also remember all those memories he wrote down. Ah, I can totally imagine the endearing scene of little Ashe naming Basch her knight :D
