What's wrong with having a happy ending?

I love this story, never get tired of re-reading it.

Oh thank you God... After searching for such a fucking ridiculous amount of time I FINALLY found a fanfiction story about Finder series which does NOT have a typically stupid happy ending and the "heroes" will NOT live happily ever after. I mean that ending of yours was pretty suggestive that something horrible will happen...

And honestly, props for you for that! GOOD JOB! ) In that way your story is a gigantic breath of fresh air. It's boring to always read fanfic stories with the same old cliche happy ending. And your story is also more realistic because underworld is serious business. Realistically it would be more likely that Akihito would just die at the hands of the villains than that he somehow is always magically saved and always manages to recover. Its also nice that your story kinda tries to humanize Asami. Because he is always so distant, calm and collected its hard to feel anything for him. And the way he is usually presented (even in manga) makes him seem a blank slate and rather avuncular.

I also like how mysteriously vague your ending is. I mean do we always need to see the final end where everything is solved and totally explained 100%? Sometimes It's better to let readers use their own imagination. )

Oh my god this was amazing! I loved that you've given Asami a family member; it makes him feel more human :P
Also love that you've sort of mellowed down Akihito. I know his character is supposed to be a fiesty little beast who doesn't take shit from Asami so I love that you kept that towards the end and still made him this person who loves Asami and needs to be with him as well. Thank you for writing and I'm looking forward to the rest of your fics!

I think sequel will be enough for my thirst.

And...you left the story with an epilogue who doesn't seem like an epilogue at all LOL
Those parts where Ryuichi is with his grandpa almost made me think that the man behind Akihito's misfortune was grandpa Asami himself.
Simple yet interesting story!

Please please please do a sequel! This story was amazing, and the ending was just a mean teaser!
