Watari/Roger has quite the following nowadays, especially on tumblr. Hahaha! However, I agree with L/Watari—they’re too much of a parent-child relationship for me. Anywhoozles, this was a nice ficlet. Short, succinct, and utterly hilarious.

There are some pairings that I absolutely refuse to read, such as L/Misa. That one just scares me, and I wonder who was the genius who made up all these pairings. If I ever write a Death Note fic, it better be a character centric, with no romance at all, just to be safe.

Light/Anyone isn't good, because Light's the kind of guy who uses people who love him, but I love Light anyways. L...I don't know what to say about him, or any of the Wammy characters. Yaoi doesn't bother me, but I'm not much of a fan. OCs are all right, because I find it hard to see a perfect character match.

Nice reviewing for you, I'm going to go away because I'm going to start rambling about how grammatically incorrect, "Nice reviewing for you," might be and the fact that it might not make sense.

This story made me chuckle. And yes we do need someone like Watari keeping a eye on pairings.

Pairings that shouldn't happen:

L/anyone (he lacks social skills let alone get intimate with another person)

Near/anyone (same reason as above)

Light/Misa (he is using her for her eyes)

Near/Mello (hate it hate it HATE IT)

That... is truly epic. Yet, the idea of Watari with a gun somewhat frightens me. Not as much as L on a sugar high with a sniper, though.

Or Light on one of his many bouts of madness with a sniper, pen, and suspicious black notebook while L is on a sugar high with a sniper.

And yes, I totally share your sentiment. And, scarily enough, this scenario has been acted out by my friends and me many times over IM, using Mello, mostly, as the vigilante fanfic-corrector. Mello/Near? Bang bang it is. Anything kooky involving L? Bang.

Although he likes it when you slash strange people with Light. He wants to watch Light suffer. Strange kid.

Nice...this made me LOL. I didn't even know pairings like those even existed...O.O Thanks for enlightening me...and I like the fact that Watari is the main character in this one shot. It's a nice change. Although he's not a favorite, he's still a cool guy in the series-especially for an old guy. He's a sniper! Bad-ass, man. Anyways, I was really laughing at how he decided to 'rearange' the fanfics...courtesy of his gun. L-O-f*cking-L. Genius. .
