O. M. Geeeee! The chapter 2 snaps and around the universe good!

First you have Itachi saying to Sakura what EVERY ItaSaku fandom lover wants to hear him say (IMO)
“"These last months have been the best of my entire life. I am yours Sakura, mind, body, and soul. I am in love with you Haruno Sakura. Yes, you are right, my past is my business, but your future is my privilege.””

And then as if hearing the collective gasps and squeals and giggles we were all doing, you top it all off with Sakura’s BAMF response to being interrupted!

This chapter is my all time, squealing while kicking my legs on the bed, heart eyed swooning 1000% favorite. Thank you!

One of the best things about non-massacre AU’s are stories like this one where the author explores the decisions Itachi made to avoid the massacre. His thought processes leading up to the massacre/avoidance of the massacre, as well as how he would share theses thoughts, decisions, and ultimately his mindset. I love how this story weaves the events of canon with this AU and Itachi/Sakura’s place in it. Bravo Author-San!

I can't wait for the next chapter! The breakfast scene was so cute until asuma broke my heart.

I could not, NOT move pass the first section without commenting about Sakura telling Naruto what REAL friends do when they think something is off. That is not what Ino did. Ok the fact that your story has me all riled up about Ino is a testament to just how awesome this story is. And heelllllloooo fan why can’t I used emojis!

So the question is whether Ino is the good friend everyone claims her to be? Shouldn’t she have confronted Itachi with this before breaking Sakura? Idk. I just knew she’d started a shit show, because she was the one that set Naruto and Sasuke off on their tangent, and now low and behold look what’s happening to our love birds, ugggggh.

Fanning myself because that was pure hotness! But I still can’t seem to forget the craziness Miss Gossip Central has unleashed. I mean I have always had some doubts to just how close of a friend Ino is to Sakura. Could she not tell that Sakura was longing for Itachi’s return? Ok this story just begs for my to binge read more, lol.

So love how Itachi and Sakura are both lowering the walls they have constructed so that each is revealing who they actually are beyond the expectations and perceptions of others. To have that occur in the same chapter as where the bonds of Team 7 are reinforced and expanded by the truths all 4 shared. Can’t help but low key binge these chapters, lol.

Damn the brother's letter was chilling as hell. And poor Shisui!

Bravo for her understanding that Itachi chose her for being her, although Kakashi had to sell it to her.

Ohohhhoohoho he is DEAD I hope he gets that black eye in the next chapter!

Though your author’s notes were written years ago, the truth of them about Itachi still ring true. I was talking to a few people and he came up. They all agreed that he is one of the best anime characters ever written. These were people who had read the manga or watched the anime only. This story does an excellent job of characterizing him.

I’m officially a heart eyed, swooning puddle of goo. Kakashi as a surrogate dad is perfection. I love how he opened her eyes to all she was missing by giving her clues to what he in his genius has already figured out. And again that ending though...

Oh my, that ending though?! What is he playing at? And when will they have a decent convo? I have no idea but this story is getting so good, I just can’t help but click next chapter.

Such wonderful chap! Fall, totally loved it. Nd mikoto.. she understood she made a mistake n now she is going to stand beside sakura. Fugaku, where to start.. he sees a side of itachi, he had never seen. Sakura, wow.. damm woman! U pack a punch. Itachi.. no words to describe what m feeling.. just a smile on my face right now. :)

After seeing the update.. I just wanted to re-read the whole fix again. Nd that I did. I must say.. I fall in love with this fic again. Itachi n sakura are my ever fav loving couple.. Nd this fic just reminded me why I love them. Thank u! XD
