| Milareppa chapter 1 . 1/11/2009 Anyone who has only watched the anime shouldn't read my review comment below. . . . . . I have to say that after I'd read 518, I was glad he'd only had one arm for the earlier Hell arc. That scene, where he had to juggle Rin's body and Tenseiga, while being swamped by the mountain of desperate human souls was possibly one of the most painfully sad scenes in the entire manga - but it would never have been so poignant if Sesshoumaru had possessed two arms. It was that sense of him refusing to let go of Rin while trying to hoist the sword (right on the back of his earlier comment to Kohaku, after catching the falling boy, that his arm was only for holding a sword). With that arc in mind, I'd always thought that Sesshoumaru's two arms might be of more benefit to Rin than to Sesshoumaru! Although, I can sympathise with Rin not agreeing in this particular case. :) Entertaining story! |
