This is an amazing Mello/Matt friendship relationship (which I actually prefer much more than slash). It's well written, and I love it. Wonderful job :)

At first I thought of this story only as a thing necessary to read before Guardian Angel (that I'm curious about), but it proved to be much better than just a prequel! The way Ms acted on the streets - I totally agree there was not much place for romance (as much as I love seeing one). They were fighting for their lives! It was a really warm and gentle story, and it was nice to read it! Thanks for the entertainment!

It's been a while since I read Matt x Mello, but you make me remember why those two are so awesome. I love this story, it reminds me how much I've missed these two.

I must tell you that I am really impressed!
This story was, from the first to the last chapter, absolutely amazing!
I really like that you took your time to let feelings develope and all the little stories you created for them were simply wonderful.
Also I love how you included L and Watari. I didn't expect the dead guy in the alley to be that important for the story. Sue is also a wonderful character and to be honest I had expected her to become a more important person in the story.
This story was the best I read in a loooong time. It had me glued to the screen and I just couldn't stop reading.

You are a very talented writer and I congratulate you to this amazing tale you created.

Now I will move on to Guardian Angel and I hope, that it will be as wonderfully written as this story was.

I love this one!

This is honestly the best fanfiction I have ever read. I have never been so focused and interested in a story like I was on this one. I discovered it this afternoon, and it is almost midnight, and I finished it. Wow. I can't even put into words how thankful I am for this. I have been searching for something like this for forever, something so emotional, and beautiful. I am a sadistic, I'm not embarrassed to admit, that I loved how you weren't afraid to put some moments of weakness, and sickness in this story for both of the boys ( especially Mello. God I love Mello.. Just... GAH!) The two boys relationship was so sweet I wanted to cry at some parts, and it really is extraordinary that their relationship could still stay interesting even though there was no romance. My favorite part was when they were both sick,
(Sooooo sadistic, I know..) how much they cared for each other just.. Awwww:,) Thank you so very very much for this story:) it's my favorite:D

Wow. This was fantastic! I seriously LOVED this story and cannot wait to read the sequel _ I adored how you portrayed Matt and Mello. Mello, even how he was in this story, seemed oddly canon. Like, he has never actually acted like this in the anime or manga, but I feel that he would if the situation arose.. I don't know. So, when I was reading this, I was all "what the hell, there is no plot! It's just Mattie and Mels roaming the streets!" (which is a pretty good story line, believe me) But then, they were taken in by police and L found them! I was so happy! Also, at first, I thought the officer yelling and running after them WAS L.. but he doesn't really do well with physical exercise.. AND I imagined the drug dealer as Light because I felt like it. AND AND I seriously ADORED that little old lady in the story! What was her name again? Sue? She was perfect; I want her to be my grandma! Yeah, so thank you for writing this story. It was amazing. 3

I absolutely loved this story! And even though I am a Mello/Matt fan myself, I actually liked the deep friendship bond they created and I think that if it went any further, it would have compromised the story. I think it was perfect the way it is. Though I still plan on reading the sequel, lol. Thank you so much for writing this! It was wonderful! _
