Well, on a more substantial note, I really liked how you didn't say which brother was killed for a while. The guessing drove me insane, but it just made the reveal all the more poignant. And Edmund's reaction to Aslan, man that got me. You made his grief and rage so palpable it was literally leaping off the page. Just wow. Also so relieved Aslan could help Peter, and I really liked the angle you took, with Edmund having to forgive himself first. Just this whole thing was great and my heart hurt, so well done...

Wow. Great plot. Peter's my favorite character, so it was hard reading his death scene, but I'm so glad it was happy ending.

Man... I wanted to read this, I really did. And then I saw the words 'character death' and I just knew either Peter or Edmund died. So I decided not to read it. Today, I decided to give it a shot.

The first couple of paragraphs, with one of the two Pevensie boys talking about how it was all his fault, drove me crazy as I tried to figure out who had died and how and all that good junk. At first I thought Peter had died, and then there was a point when I was absolutely *positve* that it was Edmund. I was totally shocked when it was Peter.

Then Aslan came, and went on that walk with Edmund, and I was hoping so hard that he would raise Peter from the dead... and he did! I can't believe this story was so good, but you did a great job writing it! Congrats and... off to read the sequal!

I've always wondered how when people practice swordfighting no one seems to get seriously hurt. And I HAVE always wondered how one of the boys would feel if they accidently seriously hurt one another. O.o

Anyway, it was very good. I actually thought it was Peter who killed Edmund the whole time until you started replacing He and His Brother with Edmund and Peter and I was like, "Oh." But you probably did that on purpose. Trying to confuse me, eh?

Oh, this is a cool story. I like it! Although, I do find it kind of hard to imagine that no one would also blame Oreius. I mean, they were under his supervision and dueled at his suggestion. But anyways, good job on this story! Loved it!

OMG! That was amazing and so ridiculously beautiful! You had me crying my eyes out. Seriously, my eyes are all dried out now and I used up a whole package of paper handkerchiefs. Now I have to go and buy new ones. And while I was reading this, I was listening to a song called "Forgiven" by "Within Temptation". Don't know if you've ever heard of it? Well anyway, it worked with this story and had me wailing even harder. Just had to say that...

You really wrote this beautifully and the emotions... just WOW! But I'm so glad both you and Gwenneth chickened out and brought him back. I was squealing in delight at the end. Bad moods seem to work really well for both of you. Hope to read more stories like this from you and Gwenneth in the (hopefully very near) future. You guys ROCK!
