A nice Happy New Year tale, tenderly told from a mother to a daughter. I enjoyed the cultural lesson and the explanations at the end of this were very interesting and enlightening. Now that Temari has a son, I wonder what lesson she will leave behind for him to remember.

Capturing the inner torture of choosing between two such important things runs deep in this passage. Comparing her fears to the few things that horrified her really placed emphasis on what a big decision this was and drove the point home. This short but sweet passage was the perfect tidbit to start the evening with!

A wonderful angst story here, friend, and a bitch of a choice for Temari-chan to make. Whoever would've thought that falling for Shikamaru would put her in such a predicament? You, obviously, but nevertheless...

A thought occurs to me here: what's Gaara going to say when he finds out - and what's he going to DO? The endless possibilities are ammusing to consider.

Shame you never added further chapters to this piece; I can understand that you may not have been able to, but it would've been nice if you'd been able to continue it in some fashion.

Hello Love, I am pretty sure I do not stand alone when I say you have us all aching for more. The plot seems intriguing. I definately enjoyed Shadows of The Night so I will surely enjoy this one. Beautiful writing, as always my friend. :)

This really was a shinning piece of work. I really hope you get to update soon. I won't ramble on, but I hope you get my gratitude through what I said.

I kinda understood it, but there's some things I don't entirely get. Like the ending sentence for instance. If you could explain a little to me, that would be great!

I know you have two fics out... I know... The other one's just so long. I'll find a moment where I'm not stuffed with homework to do it, I promise you!

Firstly, I know the summary's not much, but I adore it! Perfect to make the readers just want to jump in!

"It’d been a while since she’d last taken out her temari." ... Wow, nice opening line. The fact that "temari" is italicized tells me that it's... hm. Not sure how to place it in words. Nice intrigue you've got.

"Her brothers or Shikamaru. Suna or Konoha. Her life or her love." Don't know if it's me, but this phrase sums up PP so well, even though our stories are completely different! I love it!

"He hadn’t been very helpful." Mm, adorable line. Perfectly placed! I envy you!

Perhaps it's the homework. Perhaps it's just because I've just come back from the salon and my face is on fire. Perhaps it's cause my head's pounding, or because I'm tired like hell. Are the closing and opening lines of "holding her temari" meaning her emotions? As though she had blocked them away all her life, as you said before, and then taken them out for Shika?

Don't think your story's unclear- it's just my head that's muddled tonight. v.v I have to stop reading things two hours before going to bed...

Wow, Shadow. That was...woah. It was a story, and yet it was so poetic. It was easy to follow, flowed easily, and was easily related to the reader. It was really...Just wonderful! I LOVED it!
