You managed to infuse the film scene with your own insight and originality. That moment when Edmund realizes that no matter what, he isn't going home alone, is breathtaking. The other really riveting moment for me was the end, where Edmund considers what his parents would think if they knew where the kids were. I'm glad we have more stories in this cycle to look forward to!

i loved this chapter! omg you have edmund's character down so well. i love the part when peter was counting and each number edmund remembered a different scene each time. i liked the scene for number one the best. will there be another chapter and will it include lucy and aslan? update soon please! ;)

You really captured the moment and the characters. It's great how you were able to layer Edmund's memories of his reign during the Golden Age, his enduring love of his brother, and the tension of the current challenge. I'm especially pleased that you allude to Edmund's and Peter's transformation back into Narnian Kings. Perhaps my favorite detail is the way Peter's helmet reflects both the daylight and the troops gathered on the ridge above. I can't wait to see the other stories in this cycle.
