Secondly, does Tails have a compromised immune system? It would explain why his ailments get so bad and why he is scared of getting sick.

I suppose "last time he got sick real bad" is referring to "Lethal Mutation", correct? Why isn't Shadow any bit confused then, even lowering his head with the others?

Oh I done that once everyone around me was sick and I took extreme caution to not get sick and then got so sick I ouldn't move for a week it was the extreme caution that done it which is ironic considering you're trying to not get it.

So, you write about your favorite character getting sick when you are sick too? That's about the complete opposite of what I do, last time I was sick in bed, I wrote a few, mostly action-y scenes for a story I had going then with Sonic and Knuckles trying to get through a desert full of traps. Anything but sick people really. I suppose it's different strategies, huh? :)

But I was to talk about this fic, not about what different people do while stuck with colds. Speedy, you're getting off topic. Bad boy. (Now I'm even talking to myself...) Okay, your story. Finally.

Tails' reactions to the others made me laugh every time someone of them showed up: First, he's happy to see them, then it turns out the person is being just slightly sick and he quickly runs from them to avoid being infected by the evil viruses they carry around.

At the end I was feeling sorry for the little guy having done his best to get around the harmless colds the others had and still gets ill with a much worse flu.

My personal favorite was the argument between Knuckles and Shadow though.

'I am the Ultimate Lifeform; I don't get colds.'

'Then why the runny nose, your most Ultimateness?'

*start fighting*

This was definitely an enjoyable story to read for someone whose parents passed on their stupid cold to them! (Yes, my nose is like a tap thanks to my parents...)

I don't know whether to laugh at Tails or 'aw' for him. hehe... I thought Tails was supposed to be smart? If he already had a weak immune system, then using loads of disinfectand and taking vitamins is so not the way to go. hehe... if you can't tell I chose to laugh.

Although I do enjoy your longer stories, which emphasize on everything (action, emotion, humor, ect.), I enjoyed this one because the humor and the irony was more apparent then in some of the other stories that I've read of yours.

It was pretty ironic for the germ-o-phobe to get the worst sickness. Pretty ironic.

Anyway, great story!
