This is a wonderful little fic! I love the fact that Ianto has taken Jack's love affair with high places to heart, and that even tho the rain is falling, he doesn't feel the need to leave just yet. And he's right about the miracles bit, too.

I also really, really love the fact that like me, he wants to see what happens to everything. I would give anything, do anything to be able to live forever like Jack, just to find out what happens. Life is like reading the best book ever written, only to discover that some arse has torn out the last page, and I'll never, ever find out what happens.

This is a stupid question: this story has the caveat "Post CERN". Now, I know about the collider, but are you referencing an episode of Torchwood that I missed? BBC America is not always reliable about showing every episode of every series, trust me. Or, is there a fic that you've written about Switzerland & CERN?

I know you're not really out there, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask, now does it. Anyway, this is a great fic - really brings a smile to my face. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant title.

I've only just heard the play (it's Sunday), which had been gnawing away - given that I even took the day off on Wednesday to listen to it, but the internet radio reception just wasn't playing ball.

Your introspective Ianto is a joy, dripping wet but happy, and I'm glad that for once the chap gets some closure and peace. Nice idea. Which doesn't mean we can't go back to torturing him in future...

Oh this is very good. I love that someone else is aware to (what I call) the Bradbury form of existing. Which is to say, everything lives. I love Ianto in periods of enlightenment, when he's mentally and emotionally older than Jack. (Although, he seems to be that way most times.) Very good.
