Blazeb79 chapter 10 . 2/25 Well. ... that was unusual, she hates him so much for 9 chapters absolutely loathes him and treats him like shit and in 10chapter she loves him? Even the small hints that she was falling for him were pretty weak. So i must say that while a good idea for a story it was not executed well. |
Blazeb79 chapter 8 . 2/25 I dunno but lizzy just sounds so stupid in this story. Senseless, and a spiteful shrew. |
ERF2018 chapter 10 . 9/18/2019 Thank you so much for sharing your work. Your writing style is very interesting: detailed, deep, exiting, enjoyable and exciting. The plot is very interesting although I couldn’t care or even like Elizabeth once she looks so much exaggerated and even scenically. I can understand a little overwhelming regarding her father but she make nonsense for me. Looks much more a abusive relationship and I really don’t like the taste of this. It’s is coherent with the end: no redemption for Elizabeth; either Darcy and Elizabeth deserve what could be a grownup in order to move on with their relationship. Don’t get me wrong- it’s your hard work for your plotbut for me the end was a littler frustration. Although we could not think OK of Darcy’s attitude in force a marriage, I could care about him and be touched by his feelingsexcellence job. The same for Georgiana and LC: great job. Sorry for the criticism; Your work is really enjoyable. Thank you again |
gabyhyatt chapter 10 . 8/30/2019 Please update soon |
Kiwipride chapter 10 . 3/11/2019 This Lizzy is a pain-in-the-ass silly! |
Guest chapter 10 . 6/12/2018 Seems like u have confused Lizzy's character with Lydia's. She was so cruel , selfish, stuck-up and o |
Guest chapter 10 . 3/13/2018 Lizzy doesn't deserve darcy in this fanfic How can she hate him after all that he did for her and her family? She is mean to him throughout the story and then at the end all of a sudden realizes that she loves And that too ' I think I love you' WHAT THE HELL? |
Guest chapter 3 . 3/13/2018 Is lizzy mad? How can she blame darcy after all he did for lydia? |
Emma chapter 10 . 9/29/2017 So basically you let your Lizzie be manipulated by Georgiana and Jane, not commenting in her childish and spoiled points of view about Darcy and that also the man has no dignity at all. |
Goodyearreader chapter 10 . 8/22/2017 Wow there are some really entitled, rude reviewers here! Such as the one moaning about it being an AU but not saying it explicitly. Or that characters are OOC. Well, duh. All fanfiction is OOC on accout of it being fiction written by fans rather than the original creator. If I want to read P&P, I'll go seek out that Jane Austen chick. It was very clear from the beginning that this was AU/what if... That is generally what P&P fanfiction is, bar the occasional P&P continuation story. I hope that you have been able to laugh at the bitchy idiocy of certain comments, I certainly have! Something of the Caroline Bingley about them. I thank you very much for the hours you spent writing this story to share here for us to read for free. I have been happily entertained by your reimagined P&P, where you took a character trait of each and played with what could happen if those traits were taken to an extreme. That is exactly what I enjoy about fanfiction and I think you did a great job. Once again, thank you, I enjoyed the read. And a completed fic... a joy! |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/27/2017 After killing someone with a poker, Wickham would be put in prison and probably hanged! |
LMFG chapter 10 . 5/10/2016 It's not at all disappointing; quite the contrary! I think you found the perfect ending for your story. Thanks for writing! |
Johijoha chapter 10 . 1/5/2016 In general, i really liked the story, but the ending isn't quite satisfying to me. Don't get me wrong, I want them to make up and live happily ever after and all that, I just feel it wasn't enough. Lizzie is such a vocal character I would expect her to talk more, to explain more, maybe even talk around the words 'I love you' out of embarrassment. Also it doesn't really seem like she really let go of the notion that Darcy is responsible for her father's death. There was no real self reflection and understanding on Lizzie's part. And Darcy deservered to see her struggle as much as he did. In short, I felt like, Lizzie didn't have to work enough for her happiness. Why not let Darcy doubt her words of love and she has to convince him? How bitter would it be for her to finally realize her own feelings only to find out she finally convinced him of her hatred? |
Guest chapter 3 . 9/26/2015 This would be so much better if you gave us some background on Darcy and Elizabeth's history. Especially since you decided to retcon their past in chapter 2. Now, what happened in the book is sadly no longer relevant. That fact distracts from the great story you set up in chapter 1. All I know are these tiny slivers of information you tell in passing like: Darcy and Mr Bennet were friends (for who knows how long), the first proposal apparently never happened (that's what happens when you unabashedly mash two different proposals into one, effectively middle-fingering Jane Austen in the process), and Elizabeth somehow knows Darcy and Wickham's history despite the first proposal never happening. It's really annoying because your Elizabeth and Darcy do things that are so OOC for the original novel, but for all I know, they are acting in character for this story. Truthfully, all I know about them are assumptions I've made from reading a similar story by Jane Austen that just happens to share the same names as the characters in your story. And you can't even say they are acting OOC because of their grief. You can attribute some of their craziness on that, but you cannot say what happened in chapter 1 resulted in changed facts in the main story. I agree with Scarlet-Skye's comment from chapter 2, it's a lot easier to enjoy this story if you think of it as an AU, but the writer makes no indication that this story as an AU was her intention. Like I said, it's an enjoyable story if you don't let this part get in your head because after that it's so hard to not see it. |
LoveInTheBattleField chapter 10 . 10/18/2014 This was nice |
