Your "grey wolf" sounds suspiciously like a SI or a gary stu.. You just TANKED this story!

You CAN'T DO THAT! Tutors, teachers.. They are usually ok, the second he showed up? TANKED! Never fight, and EVENTUALLY even teachers and tutors have to pass on EVERYTHING, as in the character of the story has to beat their behinds easily! Anything else, and IT DOESN'T WORK! (probably why your muse abandoned you, and you had to try again)

Again with the soap opera... If her clothing isn't "the most practical if they were attacked in the nighttime".. Then shouldn't she have PACKED nighttime appropriate clothing? THEY ARE ON A MISSION! YOU MAKE THE WHOLE MISSION SEEM LIKE A DATE! I don't wanna hear any garbage about "dating" after this, because this has BECOME ONE BIG DATE (if you don't think so, you are VERY confused as to what a date means)

Staying out that late when gato could have patrols? REALLY? That's your justification? Naruto could MULCH through all of gato's forces NOW, alone! And I'd EXPECT hinata to rack up a HECK of a body count! Their fears only work when ONCE AGAIN grounded in CIVILIAN THINKING!

Why not just: goto wave, fight zabu, wake up and restore from zabu, goto gato's mansion, blow it up, kill every single person in it, go back to wave with gato's head, present it, mission done? No fuss, no muss, no drama queens, no big deal! (he is SUPPOSED to be emotionless right?... So no biggie). Zabu has no reason to fight (no payment), so no reason to "stick around", wave gets back it's money to finish the bridge and they really have NOTHING to defend tanzua from anymore, since all the thugs and gato are dead! There seems to be NO problem in the naruto-verse that cannot be solved with the "correct" application of HIDEOUS VIOLENCE!

Are you SURE they are supposed to be 16 in this one? because they are acting more in the 11-13 year old range! Still EXTREMELY angst and still VERY MUCH DRAMA QUEENS! (both of them) but also very,very, VERY sheltered (like pre-internet sheltered! AMISH FARM sheltered! And naruto REALLY, REALLY shouldn't be capable of that!)

Why does every seem to go DEAF in romantic moments? It's so STUPID! It's not "cute" or "romantic" in any way, it's moronic and distasteful! SO you WEREN'T concentrating on the person in front of you huh? That IS essentially what your saying to them! With the "what?" comments!

For not knowing what emotions are and supposedly being "emotionless". Naruto is doing a VERY good job at acting the emo, drama-queen, angst-ridden teen all of a sudden! I'd say he's got a FAIRLY good handle on: "guilt, fear, love, compassion, regret, denial, anger, self-blame and depression!" All that stuff from before is UTTER BULL CRAP! He's lying out his behind with the aloof crap and nobody should buy it anymore! This went from naruto to a soap-opera very quickly!

There is a LITTLE fluff in the chapter but mostly it's just emo whining! (wanst)

Power to change the world? HAHAHA, he barely beat the weakling zabuzza... I'd HARDLY call that "power to change the world".. ROFL... Not even CLOSE! And humanity? "not even human"... You have seen iserebi, orochi's cavalcade of fun filled freaks! (6 arms, bone-using, two-headed, bat-boy) or the akutski (BLUE with gills, no eyelids and shark teeth), Kakazu (made of black threads with multiple hearts covered in masks and replacing them), sasori a human puppet that turns corpses into puppets, pein another FREAK that looks like a walking tackle-box that uses corpses as well, orochi.. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON, I'd say "human" is a subjective term in this series! AND that it REALLY doesn't matter much! The "wanst burger" seems a little OVER-CHEWED ON for this universe!

So naruto is effectively just as if danzo got a hold of him? I mean that's the worst that was going to happen in that scenario: emotionless. SO danzo is pretty much screwed in this one, as he should know, he can't really DO anything to naruto now! It's ALREADY been done! The akutski seem kinda pointless too. No kyuubi, no "moon eye", no "moon eye", no point to the akutski.

Naruto IS from a clan of konoha, TWO actually. If that whole "the hokage has his family *even if it is just one* turned into a clan" thing is true. You might as well not try to hide it, EVERYONE on this site already knows this fact!

Naruto aloof? Then what would that make sasgay? On the rooftop? He can only GRUNT! If the students avoid naruto for being aloof, then sasgay must be treated like the plague! If not, your sacrificing common sense, logic and character development for the sake of plot (never a good idea)!

"it will take meditation and practice before..." After eight years?! You DO realize this is the ONLY time in the story you can actually have him have YEARS of practice right? Everything kinda goes downhill when it comes to "practice time" from here on out! (unless you make some SERIOUS changes with canon)

I really enjoy reading this story it's awesome. I can't wait to read more. I always loved stories where zabuza and haku go to konoha. CIAO XD

Um not to be critical here, but if Naruto is supposed to be an elementalist, then shouldn't he have, you know elemental powers? I mean blood is cool and everything, but every elementalist I have ever played used a CRAP TON of elemental powers from EVERY element not just ONE. That's not really an elementalist.
