I try to avoid OC stories like the plague, but my god this is the best. Angel really grew on me and not to mention how great you got Murdoc's character, seriously he's PERFECT. You managed to get down all his traits with just the right amount of charming evil assholeness that makes up our favorite bastard bassist. Plus with the added canon throughout the phases, sure makes for an interesting story. I've read this a few times over the years and just now leaving a review to let you know I keep coming back. I hope this review reaches you and plan continue this entrancing story!

I looove this fic so much! I read all the chapters in about 2 days and couldn't put my iPad down. It's mesmerizing. Murdocs character is soo well written and the trauma angel is facing right now is really realistic and touching. I hope you keep on writing and have fun doing it :)

Love this story; I'm always quick to read the new chapters when you post them. I'm propably going to. Reread the whole thing again:) I think your slow updates are a testemount to how hard good writing can be (you'll notice the bad ones always seem to drag on forever), but it's clear that each chapter is the result of careful crafting and lots of drafting. It's not easy to write a love story for a character like Murdoc and still keep him in character, but you've done a marvelous job at just that. And Angel's internal struggle is well written and extreamly believable. Love your work and I'll always be back for more!

hey i'm a late gorillaz fan here, and i know it has beeen a long while since you wrote this story, but if you ever happen to read this, i'd like to tell you that this story was amazing. Your writing is way above most of all the other fanfictions i've read, and the caracter development was briliant. So far, your Gorillaz story is the only one i read until the end ( well the last chapter left i mean)
anyways, thanks for that and i also i was wondering how you meant to end this story, just for my curiosity?

I know you've gotten a lot of reviews like this but a dearly hope that you continue this story. I could give you a list of twenty or so fan fictions that I have read that the authors have never finished though the story is amazing. This story would be one of the first on that list. I'm always extremely disappointed whenever I see this happens as, in a way, it feels like a stab in the back to the fans of the story, fans whatever fanfiction this story is for, and fans of well written literature. I can understand if you have become to busy for this story, if you are experiencing family troubles, or if you've fallen out of this fandom, or something along those lines. I can understand if you are not willing to give this story up for adoption as I've seen many authors do, but giving short mini-chapters, say 4-6 paragraphs for each one, wouldn't be to much to ask for would it. I'll understand if you simply have too much going on right now to find the time for this story, but I ask that you do as much as you can to finish this story, even if there are some loose ends involved. If you cannot find the time, I'm sure a simple author's note stating what you are going through and how you had in mind how the story would end would be just as good as anything at all.

Your story is amazing! I love how you bring the characters to life and keep them grounded. It keeps me on my toes and I really could not predict what went on in this story. Even if you've stopped writing it, I just want to applaud all of the hard work you've put into this. Bravo!

Holy CRAP! This is honestly the best fanfic I have ever read! In my opinion fanfics fit into four categories,

1. That fanfic where the story is awful, and the writing is so bad you can hardly read it. You know the kind. The one where you read it and you are hoping that they will never type another word again.

2. I think someone already said it, the kind where its cute, but not," OHMYGODTHISISSOFREAKINGAWESOMEIMGOINGTODYE."

3. Smut. Sex. Porn. It's all fine if you're in the right mood, but not if you want to read a story with a GOOD plot.

4. This is the story that everyone hopes and dreams to find! If all the stories were in this category I would LIVE on the website! This is the story where the writer actually made the characters have THEIR personality, they paired up the right ones, things didn't happen to fast or slow, the plot line was good, they have good writing/grammar skills, etc... They're just a good writer overall. It's the kind where if it wasn't a story that you wouldn't understand unless you were a fangirl/boy, you would find the person who wrote it and FORCE them to publish it! ONLY IF IT'S FINISHED THOUGH! If not then it goes into category 2.

Anyway, so far you are in category 4, so update! Stay in number 4! Don't you dare make me put you in category 2! Keep up the awesome work!

You know those fanfictions where you read it and you think 'oh that was cute' or funny? Or sometimes it gets to a slow boring bit and it isn't interesting enough to read right away so you start others? And then you get those few that are so amazing and it's hard to look away
I'm in the middle of 5 fanfictions right now and I finally decided to read this one (I don't know why I didn't want to open it before but the point is I did) and I haven't read anything else in the past 3 days, beginning to end and now I don't want to wait for the next chapter...
I've long since forgotten what my point was with the long review but this story is so amazing, and I'm in love with the odd pairing. I'm also greatful that you didn't change Murdoc into a mushy person... Right away anyways, like he sees a girl and falls in love, no, this was more complicated and I loved it
