Platinum Blondie chapter 11 . 9/19/2019
A great story, I've spent all evening reading it- it's now just after midnight.
FanAddicted2000 chapter 11 . 9/13/2018
That was really good ! I almost never read Bones ff even if I love the show (well, up to season 7 or so) but I'm glad I did! It was really interesting to read, for the plot, as much as for how it was written.

Adelled chapter 3 . 10/20/2014
Love the idea that closed hearted Brennan took on political ferment to save lives.
Ana chapter 11 . 2/6/2013
this was the best way to start using a new computer! I loved your fic, I'm not even sure I can describe why. It's not just because I'm fervently addicted to follow fics that transition B&B to a relationship but I find you did it most elegantly and originally. Nothing absolutely out of place for me, everything with Parker in it was just adorable and frequently I immediately deduced from your descriptions where the story has going but I think it was out of intellectual connectivity and not at all huge predictability. I'm so glad the Universe decided to make Sweet's POV chapter the worse one and still not as bad that I would stop reading to do things like check a pending email or simply live my life. I'm still going to read the epilogue so I'm not typing any further. Thank you so much, I find you an amazing writer!
the dud pistachio chapter 11 . 2/3/2013
A remarkably well-written and touching story! I'm not too big on angst and I loathe when Booth and Brennan are romantically involved with people other than each other, however I thoroughly enjoyed your story. Brennan's experiences in Uganda were difficult to read, and I can only imagine how even more difficult it must have been to write since those are the real horror stories that take place in the world. Brennan's strength, courage, and faith in Booth shines throughout the story which I found to be beautiful.

The fluff was awesome too, of course! I determined the desire, respect, and love they have for one another in these sweet scenes. One line that especially stood out to me was a couple of chapters ago in which they're kissing and Booth thinks even though Brennan's never confessed her love for him aloud, that doesn't mean that he can't feel it.

Also, lovely job on the point of view! I especially liked guessing whose perspective I'd have the chance to view from within the first paragraph of each chapter.

Thank you for the fantastic read :)
EveyEve1215 chapter 6 . 12/20/2012
The story over all is a great read thus far. The waltz with the mysterious "white knight" was nice, more than nice but I can't think of the words. But I decided to comment here because I love Brennan and Parker's relationship. The scenes you wrote were beautiful. The innocence of of bliss.
Guest chapter 11 . 9/30/2012
Just a note to let you know that I thought this was a very sweet story. Good Job.
zombienath chapter 11 . 10/5/2011
I'd read the first chapter of this a while back, and I went, "Nope!"

Coming back to it a few months later, I had a lot of time on my hands and started reading the rest.

It was a huge surprise. The fic as a whole was like a snippet of their lives, more than anything, since it covered a decent length of time and a number of topics. Really, really good.

You skipped over a lot of things in the timeline, which made me a bit sad, but it didn't detract from the story overall.
Anastasia chapter 11 . 8/1/2010
This was a roller coaster of emotions for me. Considering the fact that I'm in the middle of season 4 and my itunes is playing sappy music my heart was breaking at some points in this story. I've always like the idea of Booth and Bones finding other people to pursue relationships with (because we know that ultimately they belong together) because they both deserve someone in their lives.

Is it horrible that I kind of wanted Bones to pursue something with the SEAL (?) that saved her and maybe even Brian? But I love the B&B in the end.

The recollections of Bones in Uganda were heartbreaking. I think they were surprising realistic and I thank you for mentioning Invisible Children. It is a very worthy cause that needs as much support as possible. On a lighter note, I think it was very noble for Brennan to help those orphanages. It kind of reminds me of her in "The Baby in the Bough" when she decides to pay for the bridge that needs to be repaired so the town would be back on the scenic route and repair itself.

Really good story and even though it was written like a year and a half ago it still feels like it could be plausible in the Bones world next season.

Oh and before I forget I know you didn't like the chapter with the kiss that was told in Sweets' point of view. But I did like all your different interpretations of a kiss. And what a real kiss is and how directors try so hard to get a kiss to look a certain way and how you can feel the emotion.

Great read :)
berta101 chapter 11 . 6/30/2010
Holy. okay. so I read this while thing in three hours becasue I just couldn't take my eyes off of the screen. I was very imressed with this whole fic. I love that you managed to stay true to all characters, not just Booth and Brennan. I could just feel the tension rolling off of them, esp. when they were in the stairwell.

I tried really hard not to like Jen, but it was hard becuase her character was actually quite likable. This was a refreshin cange because a lot of other authors, if they have a love interest for Booth/Brennan they make he/she out to be totally awful.

So yeah, overall this was a terrific fic. I thought the second person POV was perfect and it worked really well. This fic was most definitely the most well written one I have read in a ong time. It's so refreshing not to have to read around grammar/spelling mistakes!

P.S. Welcome to my Favourites/Alerts page :)
