I was getting worried that I was never going to find another good Charmed story again and then this story appeared and even though I'm just on the first chapter, I am so, so, so, so excited right now because I know that this thing is going to be fantastic! And looking at your profile I can see that you've written quite a bit. I think you just made my day (or maybe my week :) heck, let's make it a month)

The only other thing that I wanted to mention was the fact that you have a few typos in this chapter. It's just something that you might want to look into fixing, but they aren't too big so it's not that important.

Hola! Yes, another review for me. Don’t worry, it’s going to be just as long - if not longer - than the other review for the first chapter of this story. So, here’s Fishy’s review for chapter 2 of your pilot.

I have to say, I totally adored and laughed a lot during the Piper/Leo/Chris/Prue/Phoebe scene. I thought that they would behave exactly like this when it came to these two - after all, Chris died to save the future, and Prue was the little girl that Phoebe saw long ago. And they’re hunting demons without telling anyone. So, I think their reactions are both in character and logical. Still feel really bad for them, though, no one should have to deal with the wrath of Piper except for some demons!

I can also see Paige trying to help the two out of trouble but failing miserable. I read the profiles on the page, and I completely love scenes where Paige and Junior are in. Junior is officially within my top five favorite characters for this story - along with Chris, Wyatt, and Emily - and he is so much like his mother it’s truly scary. So, kudos for getting her character down when it comes to Paige herself, and when it comes to her just-as-sarcastic son. J

I really enjoyed the Melinda stuff in the first part of the chapter, however. Little miss innocent’s not as innocent as she seems, and I really have to laugh at it. I can totally see Melinda being a little goody-girl while she gets into her own trouble when her parents aren’t looking. I really like her relationship with Leo - since he’s the only mortal, and she’s part witch and part mortal, I always thought that they would have a bond. Plus, I had to laugh at the Daddy’s Girl part - I could totally see that.

I have to say, though, I’m really starting to like Candon. He seems to actually have a brain *gasp* which is pretty rare for a demon on Charmed. Well, Zankou had a brain, and so did Cole, but we both know how they turned out, right? Well, Zankou’s partial ending was hilarious, however.

I really enjoyed the Emily scene - I really like her, she’s such a feminist, which makes her good in my books! She reminds me a lot of Paige - and I think I would actually pay to see Wyatt and Emily debating like that, LOL, it’d be really entertaining to watch. Though I think that Wyatt would have his butt handed to him by Emily - but you’re the only one who knows how that would turn out, LOL. However, I liked the continuity with the ‘stealing Wyatt’s play-dough part’ - taking us back to where it began, so I liked the continuity.

I have to laugh a little bit about Kelsey. She and Emily seem so different, but friends that are complete opposites are often extremely good friends in the end. I can tell that about this two - Emily probably helps keep Kelsey on earth, and maybe Kelsey will help Emily snag Wyatt? Just a guess, and yes, I’m still rooting for Emily/Wyatt. It’d be so cute, LOL.

I really enjoyed the last all-Halliwell scene, however. It shows a sense of family, and I’m starting to like the other of the next generation - mainly Melinda, however, because she’s so much like Piper. Like mother, like daughter, right?

I do, however, think that my favorite part of the chapter was the Junior-Wyatt-Chris-Prue scene. I love how protective Junior and Wyatt are of their family - they’d have to, being the older siblings of their family. But, even when they’re yelling at each other, it’s clear that they care about each other - that’s why Wyatt and Junior are doing this. As for the death wishes… well, all Halliwells have death wishes, I think that Junior and Wyatt need to get used to that. :D

Hm… I’m starting to have my theories on who the boss is - but I’ll save it until I have more information in the story, and when I can support it with more facts. But, however, I think I’ll be right with it. Either way, it’s someone that we’ve seen before in the show a couple of times, right? Either way, I think I figured out who it is, but can’t wait until we get confirmation.

WOO! ANOTHER STORY WITH THE MANTICORE! :D You’re reading to the review of the little Manticore fan, I adore him! I love how people incorporate him into their stories. He so should have appeared in Charmed a couple of more times, he had such a great concept and great nature-vs.-nurture ideas about him… But I enjoy your characterization of him, I think that’s it’s nicely done.

Oh, crap, poor Emily… I knew it was a matter of time she was kidnapped because of her bond with Wyatt, LOL. Ah, hope Wyatt saves her… he better, LOL, or you’re not getting another review from me. JK, JK… or am I?

Because I think that this is honestly one of the best next generation series out there, I'm going to review all of these! :) That's right, all of the chapters. :) The stories are also getting placed on my favs, and you're going to be on my author alert.

Anyway, down to the review.

I really liked your choice for cast when it comes to the Halliwell family. I liked that you managed to find a pair of twins. I've seen the two actresses used once or twice, but not that many times before, so I think that was a good idea to use them.

Anyway, down to the story itself - I enjoyed the element of incorporating Forever Charmed into it a bit, it gives a sense of unity to your pilot and to Charmed itself. I do like the little bit you picked up with Wyatt going 'what' when he heard about the other reality - I wonder how he would react if he found out. It was a good way to start the story, either way.

I also enjoyed the Chris and Prue in the Underworld part. I always imagined what they would do there - I always thought that the next generation would end up demon hunting all of the time. I also loved Chris's comment about the cosmic taxi not being free - it seemed a lot like Chris, so I think that you have him well in character, even though it technically isn't the same Chris as the one in season 6. Either way, I'm liking Prue a lot, as well. She seems lot like her namesake, though I would love to see if she had a little of her father or mother in her, too. But I think you did pretty well, there.

I also enjoyed the Melinda and Piper scene, as well. I thought it was a good way to tell us ‘who’s who’ in the next generation, so it was a good idea. I would love to have gotten more background, however, on the whole sort of Sam and Victor truce. I thought Piper was in character, and I like how you’ve characterized Melinda in here - she seems like a good little sister, and I can’t wait to find out more of how she reacts and stuff with Wyatt and Chris. And I had to laugh at Piper’s whole ‘Phoebe’s little angel’ crack.

I also really enjoyed the whole Emily-Wyatt scene. LOL, I’m really starting to like her a lot, even though I think we could have gotten a little more back-story on her and everything. I’m officially rooting for Wyatt/Emily thanks to that scene, by the way.

However, my favorite character so far has to be Junior, I love the way that you’re writing him, it seems like a really good way. Either way, I like him a lot! I enjoyed seeing the Wyatt-Paige-Junior scene, it shows that they both really care about the rest of the family. I feel bad for Ana’s boyfriend, however, LOL.

Prophesy, huh? Well, you’ve got my interest - I can’t wait to find out more about this prophesy. Either way, I thought that you did a really good job with starting a next generation story. Nice job, and expect another review from me soon.
