Excellent story! The first-person narration gave this work an emotional depth and unique perspective that I truly enjoyed reading. Your narrator comes across as very well developed and relatable, despite the brevity of her story. I smiled a bit when I read about her agreeing to marry Keever. Your descriptions are great - I got some very vivid mental images from this story - and the dialogue is on point. Having John's motto engraved above the doors was a very cool detail, but you absolutely slayed me with John's final gesture. Fantastic reference. I love it. It's a rarity to find such an uplifting tale in the dark world of Terminator fanfiction, but that only made me appreciate this story that much more. Thanks for sharing this!
