I really like your missing moments, and I hope you'll continue them. You kept Katara and Zuko in character and you didn't have them falling all over each other (as much as I love them together, well that wasn't going to happen when things were so complicated). I really enjoyed reading this!

This was a very well written dialogue, and you've done a great job of keeping everyone in character. This fic reminded me of just how much these two characters went through together, even when they weren't necessarily on the same side. I think these scenes would have fit in the actual story quite well, and, to me, that's the best testament I could possibly give to your work!

Whoah. I can't wait for you to continue this. The understanding you have of the characters' interactions and their depths is illuminating, and the way you bring it out so simply and revealingly is very powerful. I loved the way you dealt with Katara's situation here. I'd never really seen the parallels until you unfurled it so wonderfully.

You have a real talent at looking into the characters that is incredible. I'm really looking forwards to the next chapter. :D

Whoah... very, very touching. I wish this had been canon; Zuko's thoughts were perfect, and Katara's actions were heartbreakingly in tune with what happened in the Southern Raiders. I absolutely loved the end part here - Zuko's honesty and his words and his comparisons to the other characters showed just how unique he was and how special the moment was.

I must say, the only thing that jumped out at me in terms of grammar in this story was the jumble of tenses - at times the wrong one was used, so it was a bit jarring. Still, it wasn't nearly enough to override the strength and power with which you wrote this piece, and I can't wait until I read the next chapter!

See, this is the type of story I love. The one that fills in those big ol' blank spots with Katara and Zuko. There is SO much story to tell with them, and you're doing a great job telling it. I'm eager to read more.

I liked your first part, too. Zuko would totally yell back. Which is exactly what Katara needs sometimes!

Yeah, that kind of bothered me about the 'Players' episode. Kissing doesn't magically make someone fall in love with you. I know that I would have resented someone who ignored my own feelings and tried to push, so I liked that you fleshed Katara out a little here.

Honestly, this is what SHOULD'VE happened in the show! AWESOME!
