I've taken Japanese, and the absolute first thing we learned in grammar is that the verb is always last.

nemasu wa neko would translate roughly to: as for asleep, cat

Just making sure you keep your fine japanese :]

Not bad overall. But don't use Japanese like that, it feels like all you want to say is "look at me, i know some of this stuff".

Oh, about your Japanese it's pretty good; the only mistake you did was with "Neko wa nemasu". You placed the subject, Neko, before the verb, sleeps when it's supposed to be the other way around. All your other Japanese sayings were right.

Senpai is used to generally mean upperclassman, but in general, it roughly translate into "mentor", or someone who teaches a younger person called the "kohai"

Wow, rather intense. Though I kind of like that idea, Yomi helping Michiru get through the whole "accepting the truth" thing. Are you going to continue this or have a sequel? I hope so. There needs to be more YomixMichiru fics.

Yomi certainly is authoritive with Michiru. I wonder what that message means, and why it's only meant for Michiru, though I think I have a fair idea. lol.
