Of course Harry is nearsighted. Otherwise, he would need his glasses only to read, but not for Quiddich. Unless he is extremely farsighted, which would mean he needed very thick glasses.

Well... other than the obvious disgust about WHERE Mrs Daughter of Helen landed herself and what she got up to... or should that read into? :P The idea with the universe crossing heroine looking for her missing boyfriend is a clever plot setup for an incredibly long sidestory and the scene in the ballroom (or whatever can hold a century of outfu... ehhh coitally exhausted women/girls and a chandelier? :D) was mildly funny due to its bizarre nature.

I'm not sure if Harry and Harley needs such a strong link back into the Realms of Rowlingworld and a sidestory of so strong potential, but then i'm not your core audience for the bad girl good boy story either. ;) At least it's DC (you can add what you want, the letters Marvel never will spell decent! :D) but else... *sigh* There are so awesome girls in the DC Verse... most of them even with girl in their secret identity handler :D And you must fall for the idea of the lawbreaking psychopath girl. Meeeh.

I would vote for any side adventures for Harry and Harley to be in a different publish set...especially if our naughty librarian bookworm is the one doing the hoping around; call it Hermione's Hump Days.

It makes a lot of sense, but parts of it make no sense at all (when she talks about Molly telling her about Harry's family it's a bit confuddled i think? some hers where hisses should be found?) and ultimately as it is written right now is the very best argument for why Ginny Weasley isn't the girl for Harry to fall in love with as she basically loves only the lies, the exaggerations and the assumptions about this mysterious boy but loathes everything he truly IS. And how she disregards him as electable when she thinks he's poor or pathetic instead of a superrich hero? *shudder* Yeah that's LOVE. Ayn Rand Style.

You're right, the idea that Molly might have acted that way because Ginny wanted to see her hero at least from a distance has not come up in any story i've seen up to now... although i recently read an interesting take where Molly USED to do this every time they went on September 1st as to help out shy, nervous or forgetful firsties to find the entrance without asking maybe the wrong person for help... I found that train of thought pretty interesting...
And as for Hermione... nah... she's never a true bitch. She has some bitchy moments, but if you read all the books Harry has lots of those too. Is she a worse friend and at times outright hostile? Sure, it's right there in the book, but even the most horrible mindwrangling thing in the disaster of that book, the fighting about the prince's book, still contains hints that she wants to help him, even when jealousy and mistrust also vibe through that interaction... Still she also wants him to learn Potions in the way that will help him later on, not just rely on a fancy book with wondersome instructions, which might be a bit much to expect from a boy scarred by five years of Snape's brand of TLC, but at least is unbitchy.

That was interesting. And more than a bit scary. Seeing the story told from Ginny's point of view, and the POV of a Ginny who wasn't just a stalker queen is going to be very enlightening. So, instead of a MOB we have a MLB pulling the strings?

Yep...Ginny is completely around the twist and she is not even at Hogwarts yet for this story.

I liked that one, not a huge fan of Harry/Hermione but I liked this one
