I really liked it, and I thought you really stuck to the essence of Batman Begins and didn't stray. Good vocabulary and sentence structure and great story!

Wow, I really loved this fic. You captured the Bruce/Alfred relationship elegantly and in unexpected form. The careful evolution from little Bruce to man Bruce is detailed wonderfully from Alfred's engaging PoV; he doesn't miss anything and leaves nothing out from his own thoughts.

Uh, wow. This is going straight to my fav list.

Excellent! Well...not if it's slash, which I can't tell. Something about 65-year-old man/28-year-old boy is just weird. But I loved the missing scenes! I'd always wondered what it must have been like for Alfred, raising Bruce.

I also liked at the begining when Bruce gets beat up for being rich. It shows his fierce loyalty to his family and also his determination for justice-which obviously manifests itself as Batman later in life.
