OMG. You won't believe how much I wished for the story to have a better end. I was quite heart-broken when I saw in the anime that they were in fact twins. O, maddening fate!

They were no longer twins separated at birth; siblings lied to their entire lives, allowed to fall in love, realizing the truth of their origins after it was already too late. They were simply a boy and a girl, no longer separated by chance or fate, society or station, now just lover who had longed for far too long from this embrace, one they wished could continue infinitely.

and the ending itself, was beautiful as well- when reading stories like this it inspires me once again to attempt to finish my KxC fics, but I refuse to bring to my story a struggling author as opposed to an inspired, in love with her written words, author. It's still nice to see though, such beautifully woven tales such as this for a fandom that is barely still alive.
